Belle Distinguèe Launches Its Era of Elevation Line

Belle Distinguèe launches its Era of Elevation line.

Founded by Delali Agbele, the women’s suit brand empowers women through fashion. Its bold colors and styles are tailored for today’s women. Belle Distinguèe continues its mission with the latest collection, Era of Elevation.

Agbele says, “This collection is for the boss woman excelling in her career and in her bag. So she’s a businesswoman through and through. She’s a lawyer. She is a realtor. She is a medical student. She is a doctor. This is for all women who want to elevate their careers.”

Agbele continues, “Whether you own a business or are a nine-to-five corporate woman, this collection is for any woman who wants to walk into a room and let people know she’s there to handle her business. A woman who wants to show up and show out in every arena and just give excellence in everything that she does just to have that sense of confidence, but at the same time, doing so with a fashion sense.”

Belle Distinguèe, formally known as Belle Businesswear, was created when Agbele, a pregnant Master’s student in the MHA program, began to feel like she had to sacrifice her fashion sense as a trade-off to being professional. She did market research with other women and students and discovered that many felt the same way.

“We were tired of the gray suits, the brown suits, and the black suits. So I set on a journey to launch a suit brand that offered vibrant and bold suits for the professional woman, for the career woman, for the lawyer, for the realtor,” shares Agbele.

The brand was launched in March 2021, and Agbele gave birth 21 days later.

Belle Distinguèe’s The Era of Elevation collection boasts five designs, five suits with different color waves, fabrics, and styles, ranging from tuxedo Black to pearl-adorned.

While her studies were more in health administration, Agbele has always had a fashion sense and works closely with the designer to design the suits, choose the fabrics, and style everything.

“My brand was launched to really empower women through fashion because suits are something that, when you put on the suit, you feel very confident. No matter what you’re doing or where you’re going, once that blazer goes, you feel confident once that suit goes on. When interviewing for jobs, I always got the job every time I wore a suit because I felt so confident. No matter how many people were interviewing me, no matter what room I went into, I just knew that I came here to handle business. One of the slogans of my brand is “Handle business while serving looks.” So you go in there, handling business, but you’re still serving looks. You feel good, so you give your absolute best,” says Agbele.
