Black Media Honors™️ Announces It’s Inaugural Award Season Will Now Air On Fox Soul TV

Atlanta-based media company Empower  Media Group (EMG) announced the 2021 Black Media Honors™️ – the annual awards that honors broadcasting, public relations, media, mass communication, journalism icons who have influenced and made significant contributions to the media industry.

Hosted by Actress Brely Evans and Pastor Anthony Murray, the awards weekend is set to begin August 21, 2021, through Sunday, August 22, 2021, in Atlanta, GA. The official awards weekend is taking place at Twelve Midtown Conference Center in Atlanta, GA and will now be filmed for post airing on FOX SOUL TV (TBA).

FOX SOUL is a free streaming platform serving unapologetically black, consumable entertainment that shares your voice, your truth, and your stories 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The FOX SOUL network provides a platform and programming that speaks directly to the community where they can be seen and heard, yet enjoyed by everyone. It is the first online streaming service launched by Fox Corporation.

Some of this year’s confirmed for the 2021 Black Media Honors™️ include Pastor Dr. Jamal Bryant (New Birth Missionary Church), Media Mogul Karen Civil, Kimberly Chapman (Sheen Magazine Editor-at-Large)), Jeff Johnson (BET, Rickey Smiley Morning Show,  NAACP), Dr. Rashad Richey (Political Analyst for CBS46, MSNBC, PeachtreeTV, V-103, Rolling Out), James DuBose (FoxSoulTV Head of Programming), Michelle Rice (General Manager Urban One & TV One), Melissa Ingram (AspireTV), Stellar Award Winning Gospel Singer Yanna Crawley, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Dayvsnn (Levelle Davison) of NBC Season 14 The Voice, Special Guest Mali Music, Grammy Award-Winning Anthony Hamilton, Former NBA Star Lamar Odom, Karlie Redd, Darlene McCoy, Kenny Burns, Stellar Award Winning Gospel Artist Christina Bell and Willie Moore Jr. more.
