Black Owned Loungewear Companies You Should Check Out This Winter

The world as we knew it a few years ago has definitely changed. In the arena of fashion, due to the global economic structure caused by the Pandemic, remote jobs and entrepreneurship have become the “new norm,” and for many, they wouldn’t change a thing! Because of the influx of people now working from home, Loungewear has become a staple or, should I say, a fashion “must-have.”

Loungewear is something that is comfy, cozy, and can be very stylish when paired with other items and accessories. Studies have shown that people who work from home, whether for an employer or as an entrepreneur, have proven to be more productive wearing loungewear since the Pandemic. The new styles in Loungewear have made it possible to be seen on video chats, at the store, post office, and even on very important errands. The more versatile the Loungewear is, the better, especially in the winter months. The ability to add a scarf, nice coat, or even some chic boots makes living in the “new norm” that much better.

Some black-owned businesses saw this as a business opportunity and wanted to supply what was demanded. SwagHer Magazine is excited to bring you the best in Winter Season Loungewear by Black-Owned Brands!

Girl Next Door (shopgnd.com)

This brand is indeed one of my favorites! The Loungewear sold by Girl Next Door is more than just comfy but also very chic! My favorite set is the Cuddled Up Teddy Lounge Set in White specifically! This silhouette can definitely be dressed up or down. With a camel-colored peacoat and boots to match, this cozy number instantly turns into a rich look!

By ACM (by-acm.com)

By ACM is another black-owned jewel amid the fashion world. One of their best-selling loungewear sets is the Cozy Seam Top with matching Pants. This set is stretchy and moves as you move! It too can be worn with slippers, sneakers, or even heels. Very easy to wear with style! Great paired with a fur jacket and pointed-toe heels.

Dayo  (DayoWomen.com)

Dayo has knocked it out of the ballpark with their Relaxed On The Go Pants. Available in 3 colors: Boldly Black, Blissful Beige, and Romantic Rust, these pants go perfectly with just about anything, especially a Dayo shirt to match. Great neutral canvas to add color to, especially during the Holiday Season. A plaid coat or jacket would go great with some flat ankle boots.

House of Chic (houseofchicla.com)

House of Chic did not disappoint with their “Stay Ready Pants Set.” Designed with remote workers and entrepreneurs in mind, this is the quintessential loungewear set that can definitely be seen on a Zoom Call without question. The entire set is comfortable, with a button-up shirt and wide leg, comfy pants that scream “professional.”
