Hype Hair to Host Exclusive Subscribers Event During Essence Festival

Hype Hair, the premier source for multicultural hair and beauty, is showing appreciation to its subscribers by hosting an exclusive event during the busiest festival weekend in New Orleans, Essence Fest. The #FeelingTheVibez: Rooftop  Day Party is sponsored by BLVCK Spades and African Pride and will feature Trina “Da Baddest Chick” and friends and DJ PNUT on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

The magazine’s owner, Lia Jones, says, “Hype Hair is committed to staying ahead of the trends as we continue to be the authoritative voice on hair going on 35 years. Black hair is a celebration, a form of expression and creativity. Si

mply put, only Hype Hair can collide the worlds of hair, music, and culture the way we have and will for this event”.

With its partnership with African Pride, Hype Hair is giving away an opulent, luxury VIP experience to two lucky winners. The winners were chosen after they subscribed and followed by Hype Hair and African Pride. The experience includes hotel accommodations, official Essence Fest concert tickets, and the chance to party like a VIP member.

When explaining how the collaboration with African Pride came about, Jones explains, “We have worked together over the past few months to share the new “ Feel it Formula” with our audience. Bringing the “ Feel it Formula” to NOLA for one of the biggest weekends for our culture was a no-brainer.” The event will allow attendees to mix and mingle with beauty influencers and the Hype Hair and African Pride teams and see an exceptional performance from hip-hop icon Trina!

So much effort has gone into the details of #FeelingTheVibez, but Jones shares, “Our subscribers are so supportive of Hype Hair, it was the least we could do!”

If you can’t attend the festival, you can still follow and watch the celebrations at @HypeHairMag.
