Is PR Important to Organizations?

Is PR important to organizations is a question I saw online the other day.

PR is very important for organizations. PR stands for public relations, and someone needs to be controlling your image with the public making sure you stay relevant and seeking out other opportunities.

This same person will be the one updating your audience and assisting your marketing and social media teams in relaying messages about what the organization has going on in their latest news.

If you are a non-profit organization, a publicist will act as a go-between for you and your donors. They’d tend to inquiries and special requests and help with fundraisers and event planning.

Publicists help you maintain your relationships and stay on top of your brand image. For example, you should not ignore negative comments about your business online. With the help of your publicist, you can come up with ways to resolve the issue and/or redeem yourself.

As publicists, we talk a lot about securing placement for clients in, but we seek other opportunities for our clients as well. And we can assist you with changing people’s perspectives of your brand, but most importantly, we help you stay on top of your brand’s image to help further your growth and visibility.

If this sounds like something you are in need of, I’m open to new clients. Work with me to garner more press and establish yourself as an authority. Schedule a consult here
