Nicole Tiovanni is the President of a Manhattan-based consulting firm, 1925 Consulting. 1925 specializes in Corporate Strategy and Business Development in the areas of Technology, Cannabis, Wellness, and Entertainment. Nicole is best known for creating strategic relationships that facilitate growth, exposure, and extreme value. She’s considered a master at connecting the dots!
Nicole’s Corporate journey started in 2008 in the Staffing industry, where she gained experience orchestrating mass staffing strategies for companies such as BET, Viacom, and Comcast. In 2014, Nicole shifted gears a bit and took her talents to South Florida, where she shared her expertise with the renowned e-commerce startup Chewy.com. It was with Chewy that Nicole found a true love for the intricacies of the startup space. In 2014, she launched her first consulting business and applied her expertise to small business owners and their budding businesses. Her ability to sell and build teams led her to a stint in network marketing that amassed a tremendous amount of supporters and over six figures in earnings.
She realized that network marketing wasn’t quite for her and refocused on business coaching, corporate strategy, and business development for small and medium-sized businesses. Nicole gained the opportunity to consult for several technology startups that needed funding and ultimately fell in love with another aspect of the startup space… fundraising.
With a true understanding of what businesses needed to succeed, Nicole decided to launch her own firm focused on helping entrepreneurs and small business owners understand and navigate the roadmap to success. She has since coached over 100 entrepreneurs, helped launch over 50 small businesses, and helped raise millions of dollars in startup capital. Nicole also released her first book, The Boss’ Guide to Elevation: Strategies for Success.

Tammy: Please tell us about the services that you offer as an entrepreneur?
Nicole Tiovanni: I’m the President of 1925 Consulting, a Business Consulting firm specializing in Corporate Strategy and Business Development in the areas of Technology, Cannabis, Entertainment and Wellness. We offer everything from Corporate Advisory to Mobile Application and Software Development to a select group of VIP and referral only clients.
Tammy: What inspired your journey to run a business?
Nicole Tiovanni: I like to live life on my own terms and the thought of a salary from a job always felt like a ceiling to me. I’ve worked for myself for the last 7+ years. It’s been hard, I’ve taken losses (as most business owners do), but never got discouraged.
My first major loss a few years back was a 6 figure loss more than most people’s ideal salary LOL- but once I pushed past that I knew that I could push past anything in business. I have a long way to go, but I’ve hit many milestones and seen some success that I never I’d be able to. Me being able to push through the craziness inspires me to keep going!
Tammy: What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?
Nicole Tiovanni: I love helping people turn their concepts into profitable realities. I’m also a hell of a problem solver, so the other side of our business is helping businesses streamline their processes and increase their revenue. Either helping spark a love for a business or reignite a flame that may be going dim is very rewarding for me!
Tammy: How do you use your platform or brand to empower others?
Nicole Tiovanni: I’m very transparent about the fact that I’m a college drop-out that has been able to be successful in the Finance and now Tech Space. My tenacity and determination has allowed me to work alongside top Ivy Leaguers, help raise millions of dollars in Capital and advise on top projects and 90+% of the time I’m the only college dropout AND only Black Woman in the room.
I constantly remind women that we can do ALL things and deserve a seat at ALL tables! I’m also working on my second book “Cut The Check- The Guide to Charging What You’re Worth” on my birthday July 25, 2021.
Tammy: When you think of women empowerment, what comes to mind?
Nicole Tiovanni: Not just the ra ra of an empowerment event, but actually being in position to give women the opportunity to change their lives. We need more opportunities and less “feel good functions”.
Tammy: What is your sole purpose?
Nicole Tiovanni: I believe that my sole purpose is to A) Glorify GOD in EVERYTHING that I do. But also use my success to be a blessing to others. GOD blesses me to bless others. Charity is very important to me and I ultimately plan to give away the majority of my wealth to those that need it the most.
Tammy: What is something you would like our readers to know about you that many people may not know?
Nicole Tiovanni: That I don’t believe in problems. I know that sounds crazy and sometimes my mentality bothers people that like to obsess over issues. But I believe that every single thing in life happens exactly as it should. Every hurdle is just another opportunity to go harder and every win is just another opportunity to be a blessing.
Tammy: What would you like your legacy to look like?
Nicole Tiovanni: Every single day that I wake up, I work for my legacy. My plan is to leave this world with one of the most dynamic black owned Strategy Firms and several incredible pieces of literature and film that continue to teach and motivate the masses. Not to mention the seeds that I continue to plant in mentees, colleagues and my team.
I’m not building for myself, I’m building for my 3 year old son, my mom and my team and family.
