- For starters, SwagHer Magazine wants to share your healing story! SwagHer Magazine is an empowerment and lifestyle publication for the Black woman who likes to keep it real in life and business. We are gearing up for our Healing issue, which will be focused on healing from many aspects.
So you can submit your healing story for a chance to be published in SwagHer Magazine, and you should want to be in this issue, as it will be lit!

Theories & Thoughts is Looking for a Guest
- Secondly, I’m looking for a podcast guest for Theories & Thoughts Podcast on September 6, 2022. Theories & Thoughts Podcast explores the magic that happens when two aspiring, Black women and sometimes men come together and share on life, business, love, news, and all the taboo subjects in between.

Coalition to Back Black Businesses Grant Now Accepting Applications
- Last but not least, and what some of you may have opened this email for, the Coalition to Back Black Businesses Grant is now accepting pre-applications until September 6, 2022, for $5,000 grants. These grants are for BOBs with at least three employees or contracted workers, including themselves, and located within impoverished communities.
The pre-application is pretty straightforward and doesn’t really require any written answers.
The real applications will come out in mid-September, and the winners will be announced in mid-October.
