Lynda Star is a Brooklyn native and R&B singer who creates and performs emotionally driven music to connect with audiences. She began singing when she was three and writing songs at the age of 8. She has been singing ever since. She recently transitioned into acting. Lynda is also an advocate for mental health, self-love, and well-being. Her mission is to transform lives one song at a time. We talk about her winning the 2022 Essence Festival New and Next Artist competition, her single “Save Us”, and how she ended up performing One Wish in front of Ray J himself!
Brandee J is a beauty and fashion social media influencer and a LGBTQIA+ advocate. She formally hosted the Brandee J show and was the edited and founder of Luxe Kurves Magazine. She is on the rise in the industry and has interviewed celebrities such as MC Lyte, Tank, Rah Digga, Lil Mama, and Rick Ross. We talk about being a self-acceptance advocate, her Kurvy Lifestyle Brand, and the STG Network’s Black Excellence Series she hosts.
