5 Affirmations for Wealth

I believe in the power of affirmations. If you knew the old me, you know I was in a constant state of lack. Remember I was a teen mom at 14 and by 21, I was single with three children. So there was never enough, and somehow I didn’t grasp the fact that most people had to work their way up in life. So instead of saving and building, I was spending everything that came in and living in the present.

It took me over a decade to gain control of my finances. I had a big hole to dig myself out of but one thing that helped me throughout this time is affirmations. Personally, I think they worked because I had no choice but to believe that better was possible.

Over time, I noticed that my life was shaping into the life I was speaking and writing about, so I wanted to share them with you all. Here are five affirmations for money or wealth.

5 Affirmations for Wealth

  1. Money flows to me easily. It’s a breeze to attract. (General)
  2. I am abundantly wealthy, confident, and financially responsible. I live a luxurious, harmonious, and happy life. (Me)
  3. I am a money magnet. I deserve to be well paid for my time, skills, and knowledge, and energy. I am financially free. My income exceeds my expenses. Every dollar I spend and donate comes back to me multiplied. I give myself permission to prosper and grow.  I am worthy of the riches I deserve. (Cannot remember author).
  4. My savings is continuously supplied, and this, thanks to the divine self-sufficiency, fills not only my requirements but also brings a divine surplus to me. (Lady Shepsa)
  5. My network is strong and supportive. My clients enjoy working with me and they tell others who are ready and willing to pay us generously. (Me)

Again, affirmations usually take some time to work but you can use that time to be preparing yourself for the wealth that’s coming. Something else you can do in the meantime is read (and possibly re-read several times) Overcoming Underearning by Barbara Stanny or other self-help and motivational books.

My Testimony

Listen, I was so broke when I read this book on Audible. I would listen to it every day as I drove my kids back and forth to school and their jobs in our raggedy, freezing truck. The heat and the windows were broken, and I was so embarrassed to drive it. I thought I’d never see the light at the end of the tunnel.

But we (my kids and I) pushed through, and later that year I bought my first car. It was a cash car but I owned it and the heat and windows worked. I was so nervous about making a big purchase, but let me tell you, last year was a blessed year.

I’m not saying there weren’t times when I wondered where the next dollar would come from because there were, but for the most part, we were the most comfortable we’d ever been.

How Affirmations Work

The thing about affirmations is that they help to change our mindsets and the stories we tell ourselves. Over time we begin to believe the things we are saying, and we continue to say them to reinforce this belief.

If you would like to learn more about affirmations, here’s a good article about the power of affirmations by one of my favorite self-help authors, Louise Hay.

Until next time sis,
