Kennedy: What made you want to be an advocate for financial literacy?

Candy: My motivation comes from knowing that God has me here for a purpose, and I believe educating/motivating others in business is my God-given talent.
Kennedy: In your own words, how would you describe financial literacy?
Candy: Financial literacy is empowerment, options, choices; it’s a way out of “stuck”- it’s that thing that allows you to choose correctly at those “crossroads” it’s more than money. It’s a legacy.
Kennedy: What is some advice you can give to the readers about financial literacy?
Candy: In this information overload, “google” generation and Instagram “overnight success unicorns”- READ and UNDERSTAND the cause and effects/ pros and cons of money choices, everything isn’t for everyone, and numbers don’t lie!
