In the Season 3 finale of the Starz network crime drama BMF, (Black Mafia Family), University of Colorado defensive back Shilo Sanders made his acting debut as he portrayed a young version of his father, NFL Hall of Famer and current Colorado head coach Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders.

Shilo Sanders is an elite collegiate student-athlete who is multi-talented. The show BMF is one of the Starz series that’s produced by 50 Cent. Shilo received the opportunity to make his acting debut on a popular show, and he was able to play a role he’s very familiar with.

After having a stellar high school football career, Shilo Sanders started his collegiate campaign as a South Carolina Gamecock in 2019. He would play for South Carolina for two years and then he transferred to Jackson State to join his father Deion Sanders.

As a member of the Jackson State Tigers, Shilo was coached by his father and was a teammate of his brother Shedeur Sanders. Success in Jackson led to Coach Prime receiving an offer to coach the Colorado Buffaloes. Once Coach Prime accepted the offer, both Shilo and Shedeur transferred to Boulder.

During his time in Jackson and in Boulder, Colorado, Shilo Sanders has been active on social media. One of his favorite activities on social media is impersonating his father. So it’s very ironic that Shilo received an acting role as his iconic father.

Regarded as one of the best cornerbacks to play in the NFL, Deion Sanders helped the San Francisco 49ers win the Super Bowl during the 1994-95 season. The following season, Sanders signed with the Dallas Cowboys, and they would go on to win the Super Bowl.

Prior to his stops in San Francisco and Dallas, Deion Sanders was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 1989. He was one of the most famous athletes in the world as he played football for the Falcons and he played Major League Baseball for the Atlanta Braves.

The BMF scene is set in a strip club during the early 1990’s when Deion Sanders was the toast of Atlanta. Big Meech spots Deion, and proceeds to sends him a bottle of champagne. Later in the scene, Sanders would walk by to thank Meech and Terry for the complimentary bottle.

Meech and Terry are both in fan mode as they speak with one of the most polarizing figures in sports. As Terry asks Deion a question, Shilo got the chance to say one of his father’s famous catchphrases.

“You look good you feel good, and if you feel good you play good, and if you play good, everything is going to pay good.”

Proud father Deion Sanders posted his approval of his son’s acting debut.”Shilo did his thang on BMF Starz! I’m so PROUD OF YOU SON. Wow Wow Wow! Those Sanders Ain’t playing baby. You Played Daddy Dawg.”
