An Angel’s Touch is marking a decade of ministry with a two-day weekend retreat in Pooler, Georgia, bringing together women, men, and supporters for celebration, encouragement, prayer, and conversation.
The An Angel’s Touch Weekend Retreat will begin Friday, March 5, 2027, with the Live Simple. Love BIG Black and White Ball at 6:30 p.m. The weekend will continue Saturday, March 6, 2027, with the I Am Enough Conference beginning at 10 a.m. Both events will be held at C&B Entertainment in Pooler.
The weekend commemorates 10 years of a ministry that began with a small circle of women gathering in prayer.
An Angel’s Touch Prayer Calls started with approximately five women praying for two families facing serious health challenges. One of the women’s friends had been diagnosed with breast cancer, while her cousin’s son had been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
What began as a response to those circumstances grew into an ongoing ministry dedicated to encouraging and praying for women. The group now gathers for prayer calls on the first Sunday of each month at 7 p.m. EST.
Amye Mathews, the ministry’s founder, shared that she had always dreamed of having a “girl’s club” while growing up. At age 38, that desire ultimately took shape in a way she had not originally imagined—through women coming together in faith, support, and prayer.
This year, organizers are also widening the conversation.
The I Am Enough Conference will include sessions for men, creating space for more people to discuss the challenges they are navigating and connect through shared experiences.
“We all are going through things in which we need to come together and chat about,” Matthews shared.
Early bird admission is $75 per person or $125 per couple. The designated hotel for the weekend is the Four Points by Sheraton Savannah Airport.
An Angel’s Touch is also seeking vendors and sponsors for the weekend. Those interested in learning more can contact anangelstouchbyamye@gmail.com for additional information.
As An Angel’s Touch celebrates its 10-year anniversary, the weekend will honor how a small prayer circle grew into a ministry centered on encouragement, connection, and reminding people they do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
