Greetings y’all,
If you haven’t noticed, I have begun branding myself as a visibility coach. Yes, I am still a publisher and publicist, but I realize that while not everyone may know they need PR, they agree they need visibility.
We all understand that being a best-kept secret keeps us broke, but do you know the other benefits of visibility. I’d like to share four with you all.
Builds Brand Awareness
Unless you are a brand like Apple or Nike, who couldn’t use more brand awareness? But then again, if you hadn’t noticed, these brands still buy ads, strategically build partnerships, sponsor events and organizations, and promote as much as possible. Why? Because people must be familiar with your brand. Most consumers first research a product or service before they purchase it, and the more visible you are, the more likely they are to do business with you.
Stand Out From the Competition
There are few businesses operating today that do not have a competitor. What makes your target market choose you over them? Whatever your unique selling proposition may be, your audience needs to know as well, and the more familiar they are with your brand, the more likely they are to think of you.
Increases Sales
Piggybacking off the above, the more recognizable and favored you are, the more inclined people are to buy from you. People buy from people that they know, like, and trust. They cannot like and trust you if they don’t know you.
Make a Bigger Impact.
Visibility allows you to make more of an impact. Many of us want to make a difference in the world. While it’s possible to do so with little funds and credibility, the chances of doing so are higher when we establish ourselves as an authority.
Now, do you understand the importance of visibility? The more exposure you have, the higher your chances of success. By showing up online and in the press, people get to experience the best product/service you have to offer, YOU! Visibility helps to build brand awareness, separates us from the competition, increases sales, and allows us to make a more significant impact.
