Mother’s Day is often filled with flowers, brunch reservations, and heartfelt cards. But Fill Her Cup, A Mother’s Day Soirée is offering something deeper. This community-centered celebration is designed as a day to pour back into the women who pour so much into everyone else.
Hosted by Kulture Rich Events, the experience invites guests to come with their mothers, shop for their mothers, honor a mother they love, or hold space for a mother or child they may be missing. It is a day of family fun, curated shopping, inspiring speakers, music, cocktails, photo opportunities, and intentional reverence for the Queens in our community. While we can never fully name all the ways mothers show up for us, this event creates space to intentionally refill their cups.
Kulture Rich Events was created to highlight high-end Black-owned businesses, and this Mother’s Day Soirée is no exception. The event will feature more than 25 Black-owned businesses, each bringing talent, creativity, and professionalism to the space. Circulating the Black dollar and showcasing the depth of excellence within the community remains the core mission. Honoring mothers is a powerful extension of that purpose. The event also intentionally creates a safe and healing environment for those who may find Mother’s Day difficult due to loss.
Kulture Rich Events was founded by entrepreneur Aesha Egbuna, a jeweler with a deep passion for small businesses, art, and economic empowerment. After years of participating in markets herself, she transformed her experience into a platform that is intentional, elevated, and community-focused. Vendors often speak to the care and thoughtfulness she brings to every detail. This year’s soirée will take place at Eyeconic Studios, a spacious, modern Black-owned venue that provides the perfect backdrop for connection and celebration.
Guests can expect handcrafted cocktails curated by Sipsies Mobile Mixology & Bartending, a veteran and Black woman-owned mobile bar known for elevated flavor and presentation. Music will be led by the multi-talented DJ Stramango, whose seamless transitions, live saxophone, vocals, and unmatched energy have made her a staple at Kulture Rich Events.
For those seeking restoration, Dame Fam will offer an immersive sound bath experience designed to reset the nervous system, release stress, and create space for peace. His grounding presence adds a layer of healing for guests who may be overwhelmed or navigating grief.
Speakers will pour into attendees’ minds, bodies, and spirits. Zinnijah Guadalupe, owner of Pink Nectar, will focus on healing the relationship women have with their bodies, reminding attendees that their bodies are wise and their feminine energy is powerful. Executive Wellness Mindset Coach Karla J. Aghedo will also speak, sharing her expertise in helping professional women reclaim their power through holistic wellness. Additional speaker announcements are forthcoming.
Chemberli LaChaille Photography will provide same-day family portraits with a beautifully curated set and a creative approach that elevates traditional family photos.
The event is proudly sponsored by Village Cutz, a licensed barber known not only for his skill but for his unwavering commitment to community support.
Fill Her Cup is more than a market. It is a moment of gratitude, restoration, and economic empowerment. Aesha Egbuna shares that she is most excited to honor the Queens in the community, witness families creating memories together, and continue the intentional circulation of the Black dollar. For her, this is purpose in action.
