Petals & Parfum: An Elevated Fragrance Lovers’ Pop-Up is redefining what it means to experience scent as art, ritual, and self-expression. Created for fragrance lovers, creatives, and culturally curious consumers, the event marks the first luxe fragrance pop-up experience in Southwest Atlanta curated, hosted, and operated solely by Black women and Black women-owned brands.
Produced by Forged Rose Fragrances, Petals & Parfum is more than a shopping event. It is an immersive, scent-forward experience intentionally designed to celebrate refinement, creativity, and community. Guests can expect hand-selected fragrance, candle, incense, and scent-adjacent vendors alongside interactive sensory moments, intentional design, and an elevated ambiance that makes fragrance exploration feel both celebratory and accessible.
The vision behind Petals & Parfum is rooted in access and visibility. Southwest Atlanta is rich in culture, creativity, and buying power, yet often overlooked for high-touch activations and luxury lifestyle experiences. Too often, communities are expected to travel elsewhere for curated events. Petals & Parfum challenges that narrative by bringing a fully realized luxury experience directly to the neighborhood.
The event is an investment in community impact. By centering Black women creators and entrepreneurs, it strengthens the local creative economy while affirming that refinement and beauty belong here, too.
Petals & Parfum is produced by Forged Rose Fragrances, a Black Queer woman–owned fragrance brand founded by Dr. Brittney Denson. After a career shift redirected her from academic research, Dr. Denson channeled her scientific training into developing aromatherapeutic fragrances created with community wellbeing in mind. Her approach blends intention, chemistry, and culture, offering scents that are both elevated and restorative.
The event will feature curated Black woman–owned vendors including Nri & Ember and Autumn Nirvana Candles, each committed to craft and intention. Guests can enjoy perfume and bouquet bars, a fragrance passport experience, a perfume swap, luxe branded shopping totes, complimentary bubbly and cake pops, and an atmosphere designed to feel immersive and high-touch.
Petals & Parfum is also about collaboration. SwagHer is proud to serve as the first confirmed sponsor, supporting a vision that centers Black women, luxury, and community partnership. Additional aligned Black woman–owned brands are being welcomed to sponsor and collaborate in meaningful, guest-centered ways.
Dr. Denson shares that she expects the event to create economic and cultural impact for at least 100 Black women, including guests, vendors, and local business partners. At its core, Petals & Parfum is about more than fragrance. It is about circulation, celebration, and community.
