The comic book character Black Panther is the first superhero of African descent in mainstream American comics. Over half a century after the comic book was first printed, Marvel has finally brought this futuristic African utopia to the big screen, with starring roles from Lupita Nyong’o, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Daniel Kaluuya and Letitia Wright, to name a few.
In this short video, i-D went down to Black Panther’s London premiere and met the stars and director to find out why the film means so much to them.

My daughters and I loved the film. We seen it in 3D. As a comic book fan myself, this so far has top one of the best Marvel comics films that has come on the big screen. Everyone did an amazing job on the film. I recommend any Marvel comics fan to go see it.
