Wellness is the power to live out one’s sole mission in the comfort of their own human house.
Cassandra Hill is a patient turned powerhouse who hopes to travel the world administering the knowledge and treatment of holistic health. After being diagnosed with Systemic Lupus and other autoimmune conditions in 2014, Cassandra gained the determination to overcome the illness in her body.
Already an affluent professional with a Master’s degree in Gerontology and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, this illness would make her a student; yet again. Her frustration with being sick, motivated Hill to fight back driving her to take courses on Health and Wellness; carefully applying the knowledge to her life in order to combat illness.
In mere months, her health was transformed completely, creating miraculous responses in her blood work and overall well-being. The knowledge acquired by Cassandra Hill has revolutionized her health, she has lived in remission from systemic lupus for a continuation of three years with no evidence of its return.
Today, Cassandra Hill is certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Wellness coach. She is a firm believer that our life’s lessons are designed for us to learn and teach others. She humbly confesses that “No one should suffer from bad healthâ€.
Her passion is to see clients who may suffer from autoimmune disease, emotional trauma, and any other chronic health condition experience alleviation, and quite possibly, total remission. It is her life’s calling to see her clients value their overall health and become their best selves.
Cassandra can fully attest that living healthy has changed her life and she wants to change your life too with Holistic Living Consulting. Fancy: Your story is really interesting. So do you practice full time as a holistic health practitioner and wellness coach?
Cassandra: Yes, I am super excited to now practice full time. This is my passion and it’s truly an honor that women trust me with their wellness.
Fancy: What was life like living with Systemic Lupus?
Cassandra: Living with Systemic Lupus has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done in life. The physical and emotional toll was overwhelming. Waking up in pain and spending most of the day in bed due to fatigue was a real struggle. Taking so many medications came with side effects that added to my physical and emotional distress.
Fancy: What was it that kept you going and motivated throughout that time?
Cassandra: Reading God’s Word was the only thing that helped me maintain peace of mind. For months I would write a scripture with a positive thought to encourage myself. Those writings have become my devotional, “He Restoreth My Soul Triumph through Adversityâ€.
Fancy: When you first began to educate and treat yourself, what type of tools and/or resources did you use?
Cassandra: In the beginning stages I met a nutritionist who was a big help because it was at that point, I recognized food as medicine. Then I started taking online courses in health and wellness and reading as much as I could about holistic medicine. It was a natural transition to go back to college and receive formal training in health and wellness.
Fancy: What type of clients have you helped to heal so far?
Cassandra: With God’s help I have healed/alleviated others living with autoimmune diseases such as lupus and arthritis. Additionally, I have healed women from emotional trauma which oftentimes is the precursor to poor physical health.
Fancy: Are your services also offered virtually?
Cassandra: All services are provided virtually because we aim to make living healthy convenient.
Fancy: How do you practice self-care?
Cassandra: Self-care is mandatory. Drinking alkaline water is part of my self-care routine. Other things involved in my regimen is taking nutritional supplements/vitamins to ensure my body has what it needs to perform adequately. Bodies are designed to work and rest, so ensuring I receive rest when needed is imperative.
Fancy: Do you have any upcoming events or projects that you care to share?
Cassandra: Currently I am working on a prayer journal that I am looking forward to releasing this spring. In regard to upcoming events, you can find me at Mid-South Christian Writers Conference and In It 2 Win It Women’s Conference.
