50 Cent Taunts Fans And The Media After Being Ridiculed For Power Book III Plug

Instead of a director’s chair, it looks like 50 Cent prefers the hot seat. His name seems to always be attached to television credits and controversial headlines. One minute he can show a side of pure genius, and the next minute he can show a side of unauthorized ignorance. Once again, the rap mogul has placed himself in a position to receive some major backlash.

On Sunday, September 5th, Michael K. Williams, an actor best known for his role as Omar Little on HBO’s “The Wire,” was found dead in his New York City apartment. The investigation is ongoing, but law enforcement found drug paraphernalia near the actor’s body. The death is being investigated as a possible overdose. Celebrities and fans posted their condolences on social media. One particular post stuck out like a sore thumb. This post was labeled as being disrespectful and insensitive.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson posted a screenshot of the New York Post exclusive report on the death of the 54-year-old actor Michael K. Williams. Along with the picture, 50 wrote, “Damn, if you didn’t see Raising Kanan check it out that fentanyl is no joke, killing the clientele,” 50 stated on Instagram while promoting his Starz show “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.” He continued his post by writing “R.I.P. Micheal K. Williams.” 50 followed the shameless plug with hashtags promoting his liquor brand.

Fans went to 50’s comment section to state their displeasure. Many people labeled the post as inappropriate, stupid, and insensitive. In addition to criticizing the post, individuals took shots at 50 Cent as they called him horrible, a nasty human being, and a piece of garbage. Fans used all of the social media outlets to state their displeasure. One particular fan tweeted, “Every day 50 Cent proves why he deserved to get shot nine times.”

The rapper’s first post was extremely unpopular. 50 deleted the post and decided to justify it by publishing a second post. The second post included a screenshot of a Page Six article that addressed the feud between Williams and 50. After receiving more backlash, he deleted the second post.

Regarding the beef, it started in 2018 when 50 Cent claimed James ‘Jimmy Henchman’ Rosemond was assaulted in jail. Jimmy Henchman is the person who was found guilty of hiring a hitman to kill G-Unit affiliate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher in 2011. A personal friend of 50, Lodi Mack, was murdered in September of 2009. The rumors of Jimmy Henchman being assaulted in prison were accepted until Williams spoke on the situation. At the time, Michael K. Williams posted a video stating the rumors were false. He claimed that he was in contact with Jimmy and he was safe. 50 Cent didn’t appreciate being corrected, and he didn’t like the way Williams was showing support for Jimmy Henchman. This provoked the rapper to start trolling Williams. 50 used Instagram to share screenshots of Williams in a gay sex scene when he was acting in “The Wire.” The trolling went on for a significant amount of time.

After publishing and deleting two inappropriate posts in regards to Williams’s death, 50 Cent continued to be scrutinized by fans and celebrities. All of a sudden, the media started chiming in as multiple outlets wrote about the events that took place. 50 Cent countered the media criticism by sharing a screenshot of a headline that said he was “under fire” for his comments, and then he proceeded to promote his show and liquor for the third time.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is a hip-hop legend, successful businessman, actor, and producer. When it comes to talent and ways of generating income, he displays a great deal of versatility. Unfortunately, his adaptability disappears when it comes down to being diplomatic with personal rivals.
