Christina: What is your SwagHer? What makes Anastasia, Anastasia?

Anastasia: My SwagHer is my consistency and hard work! Anastasia does not give up, no matter how challenging the battle is. She keeps striving to reach her goals.

Christina: How old were you when your love of writing began?

Anastasia: I was 11 years old.

Christina: If you were writing a book about supernatural beings, like witches and vampires. Who would you make the bad guy, and why? The witch or the vampire?

Anastasia: I would make the vampire the bad guy. I chose the vampire because vampires have the option to be normal, but they can flip on you at any moment. Bite you and take your blood.

Christina: Who is your favorite author, and why?

Anastasia: Sister Souljah! She is my favorite because her writing skills are amazing. She pulls you in with her storyline, and you are hooked from beginning to end.

Christina: Describe your writing style. Is there something specific you do before you begin a new project?

Anastasia: My writing style is unique. I write, but I have to flip the book in some form or fashion. For example, you may think you are about to read a fairy tale love story, then BAM! Something tragic happens! I love the suspense. When I complete a project, I take a break, clear my mind. I try not to write back to back because I don’t want to duplicate any story I have already written, not unless it’s a series.

Christina: Please tell our readers about some of your books. Where can they be purchased? When can we expect something another?

Anastasia: I write urban fiction books. Plots, schemes, drama, you name it! My books can be purchased at my website authoranastasia.com. My books are also available on Amazon and some on Barnes and Noble. I just released my 13th book, The Eruption, on October 30, 2020. The Eruption is dedicated to anyone that dislikes their boss. It’s a must-read! My next project comes out in December.

Christina: If you had to pick between the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series, which one would you get rid of and why?

Anastasia: I would get rid of the Twilight series. I love Harry Potter, and I’ll pick Harry over any series.

Christina: Can you give some advice to other young aspiring writers out there?

Anastasia: My advice is to keep writing, no matter how it looks to you. There are editors out there that can fix the errors. ALWAYS CARRY A NOTEBOOK! I cannot stress this enough. As a creator, your mind is always thinking of new ideas, stories, and more. Your notebook is your best friend.

Christina: Do you have any upcoming events or projects you would like our readers to know about?

Anastasia: I have a project coming out in December. I have an event in March 2021 that I will be in attendance for my children’s book: Mom, I am being bullied.

Christina: Is there anything else you would like to share?

Anastasia: As much as I love writing. I love a great book to read as well!
