Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.  ChelseaSpeaks has become a true voice, labeled as The Rebel With a Cause. With her passion for living for God, healing and believing in the power of true transformation, ChelseaSpeaks is not only a Certified Life Coach, but she is also the author of “Consequences of Truth”, The Founder of Women Are D.O.P.E., and a spiritual paradigm shifter, providing new opportunities for growth, development and true change to all whom she encounters. In addition, she also earned the title of Ms. Central Florida 2018,  where her winning place was 3rd Runner Up in the Ms./Mrs. Corporate America Pageant 2018 held in Orlando, Florida.

Believing in the power of God, transparency, and armored up with Truth, her passion for transformative motivational speaking was quickly found based on a combination of grit, grind, and grace. In doing so, she has been a featured speaker at the Stepping Into Sisterhood Conference by Women By Choice, Bella Layor Vision Board Extravaganza, Keynote Speaker at UCF Rosen’s College Graduation Commencement, Host of the Official Florida Hair & Beauty Battle Expo alongside being featured on American Idol Season 5, displaying her singing ability, and many more events, all adding to her energetic, change-driven, enlightening voice; a force to be reckoned with.

Now opening up, revealing and healing from a past of drug addiction, abortion and a series of life-traumas, out of the ashes she arises to speak life, hope and drive purpose into the lives of others. Standing on a firm foundation, the goal of ChelseaSpeaks is to mirror the image of Jesus Christ and call forth the destiny embedded in others using the Power of the Holy Spirit while being an activist for living a healthy self-love, God-centered, purpose-driven life.

From conferences, seminars, workshops, hosting events and now presenting Confidence Parties, especially geared towards women ages 16-65, which is a wide range, ChelseaSpeaks aims to speak the truth at any and all costs as the truth while bringing a refreshing energy that is truly contagious!

AllisonJanel: What makes ChelseaSpeaks, ChelseaSpeaks?

ChelseaSpeaks: I don’t quit. I simply don’t know how. It’s that simple. I don’t back down. I don’t stop.

AllisonJanel: Where were you at in your life when you decided to make a change?

ChelseaSpeaks: I remember being in Florida and attending my first women’s conference. I met a specific young lady who inspired me so much that it showed me the wonderful things that could happen if I took the very same things that broke me and used them to inspire me. From there, I was able to write my first book, “Consequences of Truth” which then turned into my first conference, Women Are DOPE, which stands for D.ivine O.verachievers P.ropelling in E.xcellence. Not only was the first conference sold out, but many women left changed, inspired and ready to “Marry their Dreams”.

AllisonJanel: How did your relationship with GOD help you survive?

ChelseaSpeaks: My relationship with God has been the lifeline of my life. Every time I open my mouth to speak, I ask God to speak for me. I used to run off the top of my mind but I remember asking God one day… “What’s my real message?” From there, I began experiencing trial after trial in many different areas of my life until I understood my message is: “You can keep going with God through ANYTHING”… and WITH GOD, ALL things are possible. This is what has comforted me when I’ve felt alone, humbled me when necessary and strengthened when called upon in times when I’ve been afraid to continue moving forward.

AllisonJanel: How long was your healing journey? What helped you stay the course?

ChelseaSpeaks: My healing journey is still going on. I don’t think anyone’s healing journey ever ends because we live in a fallen world where healing is needed, every day. What has helped me stay the course is waking up every day and feeling the pull in my spirit that more is being required of me. What also helps me is helping others. Every single platform I create is to benefit others. I remember getting tired of waiting on others to help me or believe in me so I began creating my own waves which are now creating their own courses, as we speak.

AllisonJanel: So tell us more about Women Are D.O.P.E, what type of services you offer.

ChelseaSpeaks: Women Are DOPE offers a variety of opportunities to “rookies” or “newbies”. Unlike other organizations, Women ARE DOPE looks for fresh, untapped spirited women to help aid them in achieving their goals by creating various events for exposure and learning to help provide them the experience needed to grow spiritually, mentally, and in a way where their self-love is restored, along with the courage to take on new obstacles or even face the obstacles they are now in.

AllisonJanel: How did Hol’Up’Bruh Radio come into fruition? How has this venture in broadcasting assisted your cause?

ChelseaSpeaks: HolUpBruh Radio” started off as a joke, in my mind. However, if you know me, I’m infamous for saying “bruh” a time or two in mid-conversation. Rather than wreck my brain for mind-blowing ideas, I simply went with what felt right. I had no idea it would begin to catch heat, let alone did I imagine it actually had a chance. When the first month went by, I knew the show was catchy but as time progresses, I’m watching the show now grow into something even bigger…to be announced soon. 

AllisonJanel: You published “Consequences of Truth”.  What can readers expect from it and what was the inspiration behind it?

ChelseaSpeaks: For every truth you tell, there are consequences. It’s up to you to decide which end of the spectrum you’re on; all that matters is that you speak your truth so that you can heal. 

AllisonJanel: You’ve endured several hardships in your past, yet you have continued to move forward in your purpose. What would you say has kept you motivated and moving forward?

ChelseaSpeaks: Pain is one of life’s greatest motivators. It hasn’t been the high moments that have kept me. It’s been the low moment, the lonely moments, the hard moments where I’ve found my purpose. My purpose remains to get back up and show others, that they, too, can back up from anything, too

AllisonJanel: How did your relationship with GOD help you survive?

ChelseaSpeaks: My relationship with God is unique. I believe that for one, my ability to understand who Jesus was as a man, allows me to have more faith in what He went through for our sins. This, in turn, allows me to convey my message on a more relatable term to those around me and it has also helped me remember that if Jesus went “thru it”, and He did no wrong, then so will I. I’m not perfect, by far but because God’s love is bigger than my sins and faults. In short, my relationship with God has kept me humble and hungry!! 

AllisonJanel: Do you have any upcoming events or projects that you care to share?

ChelseaSpeaks: Absolutely! Of course, my show “Hol’Up’Bruh” Radio which is every Tuesday night at 9 pm on Power 108.9, Women Are DOPE Conference- Round 2 “Rekindle The Flame”, Sept. 26, 2020, and a few more surprises up my sleeve, leading up until then!
