BET Network Shows the Soul Train Story in New TV Drama

In the 1970s, the legendary had the vision to bring the black community and the world the first nationally-syndicated black music show. When Soul Train hit the airways, it shifted things in our community and forever became part of our culture. From the timeless Soul Train line to the showcasing of many of black music’s iconic names, Soul Train is most definitely a staple in music history. This February, the BET Network will bring the ups and downs of the Soul Train journey to life in their newest drama, American Soul. Music artists such as Michelle Williams and K. Michelle are on board to play some of music’s biggest inspirations.
