“Black Authors Matter” was born out of a mindset to encourage and empower writers to start and finish their books. As the founder, I’ve written three books and look forward to sharing this journey with fellow authors and enthusiasts. This event is not just a platform for authors but an opportunity for the community to come together, mix, mingle, and celebrate the written word.

While the event is rooted in Baton Rouge, plans for expansion to other cities are in the works. Join us for an evening of literary excellence, community connection, and the celebration of Black Authors who matter. This is more than an event; it’s a movement promoting the power of words and stories.
