Bright Pink Announces New & Improved Assess Your Risk Tool

Bright Pink is super proud of their new and improved Assess Your Risk experience, and wants everyone to see what all the hype is about. The non-profit partnered with several organizations for sponsoring the development of this life-saving tool.

“We developed a promotional campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness month to educate and inspire viewers to prioritize prevention and assess their risk. Video content features personal accounts of the value of knowing your risk in an effort to bring personalization, inclusivity and authenticity to the topic of breast and ovarian health. The videos drive viewers to put awareness in action with Bright Pink’s new and improved Assess Your Risk Tool which gives women a personalized assessment of their cancer risk and simple steps to take charge of their breast and ovarian health,” says Katie Thiede, CEO of Bright Pink. “In the production and promotion of these videos and the re-launched tool, Bright Pink prioritized working with storytellers who represent the diverse population of women we seek to reach. Notably, the campaign places an emphasis on engaging black women who face greater risks of more aggressive breast cancer.”

If you have already assessed your risk, you know how valuable that knowledge can be. But did you know you should reassess annually? Your breast and ovarian cancer risk can change over time and the medical community is always learning about new factors that affect our risk. If you haven’t taken the quiz yet this fall, there’s no time like the present to take your health into your own hands.

Bright Pink is committed to helping all women know and understand why it’s even important to know your breast and ovarian cancer risk in the first place. So, they teamed up with notable influencers across the nation to share their stories and inspire you to prioritize your breast and ovarian health. We dare you to watch these and not get instantly inspired. Zeta Tau Alpha sponsored the development and distribution of these incredible videos.

If you skimmed this post (no judgment) and only walk away with one thing, know this: Bright Pink is here to help you take your health into your own hands, but being proactive starts with you. Take control of your breast and ovarian health first by taking Assess Your Risk, watching the inspirational videos, and stay connected to Bright Pink and their work on social media.
