One piece of advice that stood out to me, was when Tory said the following about conflict in the work relationship, “You have to have your own objectivity as well. Because if both of you are business owners and both of you have ideas and you want each other ideas to be heard and/or implemented-but, if one of you are maybe in disagreement, how do you dissolve that? And then that spills over into the marriage. So there’s conflict in the business and now conflict in the marriage.”
We also discuss the Smiths’ entrepreneurial journey and how they got to be veterans in their industry.
