The Alphas of Atlanta, Inc.—a Metro Atlanta–based nonprofit comprised of members from area graduate chapters—continues to make a measurable impact through its signature event, #AlphaDerbyWeekend™, scheduled for April 30 through May 3, 2026.
Inspired by the Kentucky Derby, the annual event raises funds to support community-based initiatives across the region. Through these efforts, the organization provides mini-grant opportunities to fellow nonprofits throughout Metro Atlanta, including Clayton County. These grants directly support programs focused on K–12 students, including mentoring, college tours, enrichment initiatives, and youth engagement opportunities.
