After nearly a decade with focuses on Entertainment, Small Business, Lifestyle, Communications, and Events PR, Dyamond Enterprises is now the First Black-Owned and Black-Woman Owned Wedding PR agency in The United States and globally. Founder Kelli Webb is excited about this latest pivot to lead as the first Black woman in this industry. Kelli has 20+ years of experience within management, public relations, and events planning and production.

Dyamond Enterprises is a full-service PR agency that services all companies within the Wedding PR niche. The company anticipates providing brands with the opportunity to directly connect with their audience while also sharing their brand story with the masses. Tammy: It’s an honor to sit down with you, Kelli. Tell us a little about your brand and how you’ve come to this vastly successful peak in your career.

Kelli: Tammy, it’s always an honor to speak with you also. So, I would like to first say thank you for this moment. With many years in the entertainment, lifestyle, small business public relations, and communications niche, it was time to truly follow what we should have about 3 or 4 years ago. We’re excited that our agency has officially expanded and transitioned to the first Black-Owned and Black Woman-Owned Wedding PR agency while focusing on Wellness and Lifestyle PR (Real Estate and Interior Design).

Tammy: What impact do you aspire to make by tapping into this new lane?

Kelli: To be honest, I want to do the same thing that I always have. I mean, there’s no difference in how my team nor I will handle business unless it’s through consistent growth. With that being said, I want to continue to take our client’s business(es) to the next level through media exposure and more. I want to impact the industry with additional greatness and top-tier services because it’s best for our clients that are looking for representation in the wedding industry.

Tammy: What is it about wedding public relations that inspired you to be a part?

Kelli: Honestly, I’ve always loved weddings and those fairytale love stories. Having a background in events and being an events planner, coordinator, and manager only helped to increase that passion. Wanting to provide companies with the ability to move to the level and gain the desired exposure only made sense, especially Black-owned companies in the wedding industry.

Tammy: How has this transition been for you so far in this industry?

Kelli: I don’t know yet. We officially announced the expansion and pivot of Dyamond Enterprises niche effective January 1st. With 2023 being the beginning, I wanted that to be the start of this new and exciting journey for our agency, so ask me this again in about six months.

Tammy: How would you describe your best qualities as a publicist?

Kelli: One of my best qualities is my excitement when I see my clients move beyond the expectations that they had for themselves and their businesses.

I don’t look at what I do as work. It’s my God-given service and more than just a career. I don’t judge what’s the best quality for me. I allow my clients and my work to speak for that.

Tammy: Who is your type of client(s)?

Kelli: We are looking forward to working with all companies that are within the wedding industry, bridal industry, as well as wellness and lifestyle (with a focus on the real estate and interior design) industry. We also desire to amplify Black-owned companies in these industries again as well.

Tammy: Are you currently seeking help with your business? If so, what kind?

Kelli: We will soon be looking to gain partnerships and bring in interns within the next 3 to 6 months.

Tammy: Being an entrepreneur is a 24/7 job. How did you get ready for that?

Kelli: Being pushed into what you called into is how I got ready for becoming an entrepreneur full-time. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset since I was young, so when I was pushed into being a 24/7 entrepreneur after leaving corporate America, I just flowed with it. I can now say that I am enjoying every moment of it and will continue to learn daily. One main lesson that every entrepreneur knows is that you are always learning something new, and you need to remain in that mindset of being a forever student.

Tammy: Where do you see your business in 10 years? How do you plan to get there?

Kelli: We will be international, not just internationally known. I look to have Dyamond Enterprises with major partnerships, representing at least 100 clients nationally and internationally in the next five years, and everything additional God has lined up for our agency. We’ve already begun the 10-year planning strategy several months prior to the official announcement.

Tammy: What else would you like our readers to know about you?

Kelli: I love seeing our clients win and make it to the level in their businesses they desire to reach and deserve to reach. It’s the highlight of my career to know that our agency played a part in making that happen. Also, now being known as the First Black Woman Owned Wedding PR agency holds a lot to it, and to be honest, I’m grateful to be able to lead the way in opening doors for other Black publicists to venture into new industries that we haven’t been open to.

Tammy: Any shoutouts you would like to give to those who have been on this business journey with you?

Kelli: Absolutely, I must acknowledge and send sincere love and appreciation to our entire Dyamond Enterprises team as well as clients past, present, and of course, future.

Tammy: It was a pleasure speaking with you. Thank you for joining us.

Kelli: It was truly my pleasure, as always. Thank you again, and Happy 2023! Follow us @dyamondentpr.
