New York rapper Craig Mack, 47, passed yesterday due to heart failure in South Carolina. One of his producers was the one to break the news, and according to the coroner, he died of natural causes.
The “Flava in Ya Ear” artist is said to have opened the gateway for the Bad Boys Records, due to the fact that Sean “Diddy†Combs, released Mack’s album Project: Funk da World in 1994. This was the first album to be released under Bad Boys Records, and the hit was included on the album.

Before he became a solo artist, Mack was a part of the group, EPMD. Several years ago, he denounced his former life and became an evangelical. According to producer-rapper Erick Sermon, Mack had just completed an album.
