I had the pleasure of attending Colour U Cosmetics and Genise Shelton’s partnership launch Thursday, February 15th. The event took place at the Mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia, GA. This amazing partnership between Colour U Cosmetics and Genise Shelton from Married To Medicine to help spread more awareness around the sex trafficking epidemic.
Color U Cosmetics released a special collection called “Genise’s Favorite Things’†which includes lipstick, high-definition foundation, mineral blush, mink lashes and lip gloss with a specific color named “Inner Beauty†to support fundraising efforts for Mrs. Shelton’s nonprofit, Our Children’s Keeper. The purchase of the featured lip gloss directly supports Genise’s efforts to stop sex trafficking nationally.
During the event, guest were able to enjoy a glass of champagne, purchase products, mingle with both Creative Director, Askia Innis, and tv personality, Genise Shleton, and receive a complimentary face beat. I received a face beat from Colour U Cosmetics team leader Shatea Furlow.
