Girl Talk: Dr. Chyna Bethley

“Girl Talk” brought powerful women together in Atlanta, GA, on January 28, 2025, at the Dancin Crepe for its annual seminar, creating a space filled with worship, networking, and heartfelt storytelling. Dr. Dorcas Ingrid Bayoro (Entrepreneur, Speaker, Celebrity Chef, and Restaurant Consultant), Yandy Smith-Harris (Media Mogul, Entrepreneur, and Businesswoman), Dr. Nabiha Kelly (Author, Preacher, and Counselor), and Dr. Chyna Bethley (Visionary, Leader, Investor, and Speaker) led this empowering evening dedicated to sisterhood and growth.

Yandy Smith-Harris welcomed each attendee with warm hugs and laughter, bringing everyone together with the “Tamia” line dance to break the ice. Throughout the evening, Yandy showered women with wisdom and support, encouraging them to stay connected and uplifted in their journeys.

“The one thing I want you guys always to remember is that there is always a protective village that you’ve got to build, and it’s at your fingertips because God said it to be so,” Yandy shared. “You have got to find those people—those women, those men, whomever it is—that is your protective village. God did not put us here to do life alone.”

The event continued with attendees taking the mic to express their dreams, struggles, and triumphs. In a moment of solidarity, Dr. Chyna Bethley reflected on her journey from New Orleans to Atlanta, balancing life challenges and a career in the music industry. Her words resonated deeply: “Your words create your world.”

Founder Cynthia Adams shared the heart of Girl Talk’s mission:

“To support the girls in the community and to give them a safe space to come to and be heard,” she explained. “God told me to expand, and from there, ‘Girl Talk’ began catering to women of all ages.”

A heartfelt salute goes out to all the women who spoke, attended, and supported this Girl Talk empowerment event. For more information about upcoming sessions or volunteer opportunities, contact ctngorganization@gmail.com.
