Glambitious Guide to Self-Love, Peace, and Confidence Dropped Today

Happy Valentine’s Day! If you all can’t tell, I’m excited about this holiday, though I don’t traditionally celebrate. However, I love love and it’s been a good year so far, and it just got even better because today I can officially say I am an author!

Yes, the Glambitious Guide to Self-Love, Peace, and Confidence dropped today, sis! And if you didn’t know, now you know!

I recently shared on my CEO Chatter blog, seven benefits to becoming an author. So yes, it’s a big deal to me, but it also felt good to share my story.

For those who are wondering what self-love has to do with business,  it has everything to do with business because our love of self is tied to our confidence. The more we love ourselves, the more confident we become, and the better we show up in our work.

I think it all goes hand, but I first had to learn that I needed to love myself. As a young country girl from Mississippi, I knew nothing of self-love. Only once I began to surround myself with more affluent women, did I learn of this practice. I was intrigued but I also realized I knew nothing about it because the majority of the women I grew up with, those who cared for me-knew nothing about either.

I started SwagHer Magazine because I wanted to teach other Black women about self-love, so you see for me, being a part of this anthology was like everything coming full circle.

I’m thrilled to have taken part in this book project along with 13 other successful Black women, powered by Glambitious, and I invite you all to give it a read

P.S. The Glambitious Guide to Self-Love, Peace, & Confidence book launch is on February 20, 2022, at 6 PM EST in the Glambitious Group on Facebook. You can join the group here. I hope some of you will come out (virtually) and support.
