Holiday “Red & Green”
Weheartit.com recently posted this glam “glittery green” eye look and a red lip for the Holiday Season. Perfect on any skin tone, this is a great look for a Holiday Party or going out on Christmas Eve.
The red lip is more cranberry than bright red, with a matte finish. The eye is accentuated with medium-length lashes and mascara on the top and bottom – combined with a smoky eyeliner look. This green glitter eyeshadow that can be found at various makeup counters throughout the season.

Classic “Holiday Pin Up”
One of my favorite Youtubers, Karla Tobie, came out with a beautiful Thanksgiving Makeup Tutorial back in 2016 that highlighted a “statement lip” during the Holidays. The look that she wore was reminiscent of a “Holiday Pin-Up” look that looks amazing on melanated skin.
Her statement lip was a cranberry red lip; however, the eyes did it for me! A very simple yet very classic look, with the use of black liquid eyeliner and eyelashes. To update this look, our SwagHer Suggestion is a pair of Bronx Lashes by Makeda K Beauty. “Shimmering Gold”
One thing that is so beautiful during the Holiday Season is the use of gold and silver to accentuate the eyes and lips of a woman. @Habeshanate, a makeup artist, Internationally-known Make-up Instructor, and Jewelry Brand Owner, posted a great “golden eye” look that is very versatile during the Holidays. Dress up or down. This look brings out the sparkle in your eyes! In addition to this great look, @Habeshanate also featured amazing photos from her most recent “Pregnancy Shoot,” highlighting her amazing facial features for a Holiday-Inspired look.

“Silver & Gold” Holiday Inspiration
Silver and gold are always a great makeup combination. With Silver and gold eyeliner, for the year 2021, many Makeup artists are using either or in their eye looks. Some will have a gold eye shadow with a silver line drawing a cat eye or an accentuated line look.

Holiday Fun Make-Up Looks
Last but not least, how can you celebrate the holidays without having a little “fun”? All over social media and the internet, you will find fantastic ideas for fun makeup looks. Some are a bit dramatic, where the makeup artist went all out in showing off their artistic skills with costume makeup techniques- featuring “The Grinch” or “The Nightmare Before Christmas” themes. Others toned it down by only highlighting only the eyes or the lips with themes such as “candy cane eyes.” These looks are specifically for Holiday Fun – for parties, get-togethers, Christmas village visits, or light shows.
