K. Michelle Uses O.S.D Tour To Sing Pain Away

Bad relationships are an unfortunate part of life. They come in a variety of ways. They also end in many different ways. Some can have a peaceful and quick ending, while others can be vindictive and full of hatred. The majority of the time, the remedy for a bad relationship is to get over it and move on. 
The O.S.D Tour made a pit stop in Baltimore, Maryland as K. Michelle blessed the stage at Rams Head Live. Her music catalog for the O.S.D Tour are songs that were inspired by bad relationship experiences. “The more pain you receive, the better the records,” K. Michelle said when describing the collection of music.
The hostess for the night was Radio Personality Persia Nicole. She introduced the opening act who goes by the name Whole Live N*gga. As he took the stage he sang the group H-Town’s chart-topping song ‘Knockin da Boots.’ His sound and melody produced and accurate rendition of the classic cut. Joined by his team Nova Gray, Icon Tha God, and Illestrate, the Baltimore native continued to dazzle the crowd by singing jams from the ’90s. Instead of playing the regular beat, his team provided the beatbox sound as he sang the timeless vocals.

The opening act prior to K. Michelle was an impressive one. A product of the D.C. area, Alex Vaughn won the crowd over with her powerful voice. She showed a multitude of talent as she sang, and played the keyboard. All of the songs she performed were original material that she wrote and produced. She’s a talented and extremely creative artist. Alex Vaughn demonstrated the ability to control the crowd and her vibe is contagious.

It was time for the main event as K. Michelle took the stage. She educated the crowd on where she comes from as she described the city of Memphis. She labeled it as being a little rough around the edges. After the description, she performed her tribute to her city titled ‘My Life’.
 K. Michelle verbalized a bittersweet moment as she spoke about her mentor and former love interest R. Kelly. It was sweet to learn the business from a musical genius but bitter in reference to the person we all found out Robert Kelly really is. After referencing R. Kelly, she performed ‘I Can’t Do This,’ a song inspired by her experience with R. Kelly. Feeling under the weather, K. Michelle willed her way through an extraordinary performance. In between songs she took a moment to sip on a cup of hot tea. She also gave her background singers some shine as they took center stage to sing a song. While they were singing K. Michelle watched them perform. While they were performing, K. Michelle’s team was setting the stage with props. The props were three poster-sized pictures. The men pictured were Idris Elba, Lance Stephenson, and R. Kelly. Shockwaves went through the crowd as they glanced at three men behind K. Michelle’s O.S.D music. She regained control of the mic as she closed the show. At the end of her set, she acknowledged battling an illness. She thanked her team for helping her to stay as strong as possible. She also thanked her fans for coming out and supporting her.
K. Michelle is one of those artists who is down to earth and always keeps it real. Because she has those characteristics, she has built a loyal fanbase. The O.S.D Tour continues through the month of December. K-Michelle’s next stop in 2020 is the world of country music.
