Your journey in public relations began in 2013, but what was the defining moment when you knew PR was your true calling?
Leatrice: When I was asked to handle publicity for Faces Of Success Radio 101 FM that’s when I knew PR is my calling.
You have truly made your mark as a beloved publicist. Reflection Image Media continues to make major moves. What’s one misconception about public relations that you wish more people understood?
Leatrice: PR Pros are not magicians “It’s PR not ER”.
You’ve worked on major events like BET Weekend, the Stellar Awards, and even Soulja Boy’s birthday celebration. Is there a particular event or campaign that stands out as the most challenging but rewarding?
Leatrice: When my team and I covered the media for the Stellar Awards in Las Vegas, it was an awesome rewarding experience. The only challenge is the traffic.
You’ve helped your clients get featured in numerous top publications. What’s the secret to getting the right media attention in such a competitive space?
Leatrice: Craft a compelling pitch with preparing supporting materials.

Over the years, you’ve seen the PR landscape evolve. What more would you like to see in the public relations space?
Leatrice: I would like to see more publicists working together.
In a world where perception is everything, what advice would you have to help those seeking public relations services to stay true to themselves while building a strong public image?
Leatrice: Understand your core values and principles, as these form the foundation of your personal brand and guide your image.
Also, Follow industry leaders and experts, look for individuals and organizations known for their expertise in social media marketing, strategy, and treads.
What’s next for you and Reflection Image Media? Are there any new ventures or goals you’re excited about?
Leatrice: Reflection Image Media has teamed up with 2 business partners to start an artist management company. The goal is crafting a compelling artist image and brand identity to attract fans, and industry attention. Career development, identifying opportunities for growth, such as booking gigs, planning album projects, orchestrating record releases and tours.
