Is it selfish to say that I don’t have room for selfish people in my life? Because I don’t.
My year of 2018 will be prosperous, because seeds have been planted. Not just within my brands, but within just about everyone that has come in contact with me.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m no saint. I DEFINITELY do not think that there is anything wrong with looking out for yourself and your circumstances.
However, when you take advantage of people and their business to profit for your personal gain, that’s not selfless. It’s the opposite…
I have this saying that “No matter what situations you come across, love your way through it”.
One of the biggest declarations of love, is being selfless. It has been a looonnnngggg road to get to where I am. I haven’t always been this way. Life has a funny way of teaching you lessons and sometimes I feel like God gets a kick out of showing you who is boss.
So, through all the lessons learned and all the doors that have been opened to me by just being selfless, I can’t imagine how I could live any other way. I would rather make progress over paychecks, bonds before benefit, and receive gratitude over gratuity.
It’s not an easy road I’ve chosen, I don’t expect everyone to understand. I dare you to try being selfless for 7 days and see if the world isn’t a little brighter, the air isn’t a little sweeter, and you laugh a little longer…
