Q: How would you describe your SwagHer? What makes you, you?
Chandra: My SwagHer is that I am just me. Authentically me. No filler, no fluff, no chaser, just me. I speak from a place of truth and hold fast to not.
Q: Tell us a little about your platform?
Chandra: My platform is Conversations with Chan. I share my conversations with entrepreneurs and trendsetters. Entrepreneurs who want to share their journey and knowledge with others. I love the candid conversations I have on my podcast and YouTube videos.
Q: What inspired your platform?
Chandra: The need to increase my brand visibility to more individuals, share my personality, and motivate and inspire me. My platform also shows the side of many individuals that normally we would not see. Each guest showing their smiles or the inflection of joy in their voice on why they started keeps me inspired.
Q: What type of viewer/ reader/ listener would you say your outlet is ideal for?
Chandra: My outlet is ideal for anyone who wants to know more about entrepreneurship, entertainers, artists, and more. My podcast shares tips on how to be successful and amazing guests, my publication showcases stories of individuals, and my YouTube channel features interviews with a wide variety of guests.
Q: What do you find most rewarding about your work?
Chandra: I love hearing and seeing the sparkle in the eyes and the love and excitement in someone’s voice when they speak of their business or brand. This is why I say “Conversations Begin with A Smile” each person I encounter smiles when they speak of their purpose or drive. To me, that is rewarding and inspiring.
Q: What advice would you give to others considering a career in media?
Chandra: My advice to anyone who is considering a media career is to be authentic and stay true to yourself and your message. You will be interacting with others, and people can sense inauthenticity and faux personalities.
