Q: Tell us a little about your platform? 

Doreen: I am a Faith-Based Business Coach, Trainer, Speaker, Author, Poet, Radio Host, Live Show Host, and Founder of the Divine Connection Network Association.

Q: What inspired your platform?

Doreen: In 2008 my book He’s Worthy, a poetic work that complies with the Word of God written for women, men, and born-again believers desiring to have an intimate relationship with God to bring healing, deliverance, and salvation was released. As a result, I wanted to start a family-owned/operated business based on my book. So, I went downtown of my hometown to the clerk’s office to get my business license and while there I asked the town clerk what do I do now? 

She said that she didn’t know and referred me across the street to The Chamber of Commerce who also told me they didn’t know. So, as I was walking across the street back to my car I told the Lord ‘I know you told me to start this business and I can’t be the only one that wants to Unlock What’s Inside.’ Once I got in my car, put on my seatbelt, a strong presence (anointing) came on me, and heard God say, “Divine Connection Network Association”. He had to repeat this twice for me because I never heard these words before or knew what it meant; however, He began to instruct me on how to build the business and now I have been in business for 12 years.

Q: What do you find most rewarding about your work?

Doreen: The most rewarding work that I do is coaching clients and seeing clients Unlock What’s Inside You™, current/future female Kingdompreneurs while helping you build your business, ministry, or association. I enjoy giving my coaching clients a fresh, unique, and holistic biblical perspective to the business. I also love helping clients see that ministry can be a business and business can be a ministry; it does not have to be separated or confusing. 

Q: What advice would you give to others considering a career in media?

Doreen: My advice for others considering a career in media is to Unlock What’s Inside You™ and burn the box of fear, self-doubt, and uncertainty. Furthermore, pray, prepare, and except rain!
