Fancy: How would you describe your swagher? What makes Kay Kay, Kay Kay?
Kay Kay: There’s a lot that goes into my swagher; my fashion style is a little 90’s with a dab of bling, but the inner things that make me who I am are my incredible smile, the way I’ve been taught to carry myself with self-love, respect, and confidence; as well as my love for and willingness to help others.

Fancy: What sparked your interest in business?
Kay Kay: Watching my mom create businesses and then her teaching me how to help her with those businesses is what sparked my interest in business. I wanted to be a “Boss†just like my mommy!
Fancy: So tell us about your online boutique, Kayla’s Girls. How long have you had it and what type of products do you sell?
Kay Kay: Kayla Girls has been in operation a little over a year. We sell clothing, jewelry, and accessories that are unique, good quality, and affordable.
Fancy: What type of girls do you think shop or will like to shop at Kayla Girls?
Kay Kay: Our customers are trendy teens like me, who like their outward appearance to reflect their inner person. We also have some customers who are adults but young at heart.
Fancy: You also have your youth mentorship program, Pink Ladies. Please share a little about that.
Kay Kay: Pink Ladies was initially my attempt at connecting with other girls in my age bracket who had the same values, morals, and goals as I did. However, it later progressed into both a youth mentorship to help girls who didn’t have a source of motivation, support, or knowledge to help them reach their highest level of potential even as teens; as well as a way to connect with their families to assist with their everyday needs and struggles.
Fancy: What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
Kay Kay: I just left an amazing opportunity and experience at The Industry Network’s 2018 Performers Showcase; where I was able to showcase my acting talents before some of the most influential talent agents and managers in the entertainment business. I did very well there, so I’m looking forward to choosing an agent or manager to get my acting career started. Lastly, I’m looking forward to wrapping up my second book, “The Seventh Grade Divas†which will be released in November 2018. Overall, I’m just excited about living my dreams.
