Hosted by LaKisha M. Mosley, the 2026 My Mind Is My Business Conference 2026, themed The Soft Reset, brought together entrepreneurs, mental health advocates, leaders, creatives, and wellness professionals for a transformative weekend centered on restoration, vulnerability, and intentional leadership.

Held at the Four Points by Sheraton Houston Intercontinental Airport near Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the weekend experience blended meaningful conversations with practical wellness tools and moments of genuine human connection.

The conference began Friday evening with a VIP Meet & Greet, where attendees arriving from across the country eased into the weekend through watercolor activities, conversation, and community-building. The relaxed atmosphere immediately set the tone for what The Soft Reset represented: permission to slow down, reconnect, and simply be present.

Saturday’s programming delivered a full day of impactful discussions and deeply reflective experiences.Group of women seated around a table with a purple tablecloth, attentively listening at a meeting or event in a conference room.

One standout session was “Proof Tax” by Dhara Mistry, which encouraged attendees to examine the internal narratives and labels they carry. Attendees also participated in a powerful mirror exercise led by Dr. Vann, creating an emotional moment of self-reflection and affirmation throughout the room.

Another memorable presentation came from Dr. B., whose session, “You Built the Life, So Why Don’t You Feel Peace? The Systems You’re Missing,” explored the disconnect many high-achieving professionals experience between outward success and internal wellness.

The conference also featured The Power of Your Circle panel, which emphasized the importance of intentional relationships, accountability, and supportive community when navigating leadership and entrepreneurship.

One of the weekend’s most talked-about conversations was The Regulated Founder, a live discussion between LaKisha M. Mosley and Tana Young of Neurovana. Their conversation highlighted nervous system regulation, founder burnout, and the importance of building businesses that do not come at the expense of mental wellness.

The men’s panel, Strength in the Soft Reset: Men, Mental Health, and Permission to Pause, resonated deeply with attendees as panelists openly discussed vulnerability, emotional pressure, healing, and the realities many men face as they attempt to remain “strong” in leadership and everyday life. The honesty shared during the discussion created one of the conference’s most powerful moments.

The final panel, Leading with Ease, Clarity, Faith, and Calm Execution, explored leadership through the lens of boundaries, intentionality, emotional intelligence, and sustainable success.

Beyond the stage conversations, the conference experience itself was intentionally immersive. Attendees participated in headshot sessions, networking opportunities, and wellness activations throughout the weekend. Neurovana also hosted a calming wellness corner where attendees could decompress using calming devices while relaxing in cozy chairs surrounded by soft lighting and comforting décor.

Throughout the weekend, SwagHer Magazine conducted “Mindful Moment” interviews, capturing reflections from attendees, speakers, and leaders about wellness, entrepreneurship, healing, and what their own “soft reset” journeys look like.

The weekend concluded on Sunday with a brunch and awards ceremony celebrating leaders making an impact in wellness, business, and community spaces. Guests gathered over a beautifully curated brunch experience before transitioning into heartfelt conversations and recognitions.

Award recipients later joined LaKisha M. Mosley on stage for an intimate moderated conversation about leadership, burnout, boundaries, wellness, and what embracing a “soft reset” has looked like in their personal and professional lives.

Among the honorees was Francheska ‘Fancy’ Felder, who received the Quiet Leader Award. Additional honors included the Healing Impact Award and other recognitions celebrating individuals creating meaningful change through leadership and healing-centered work.

More than a conference, My Mind Is My Business 2026: The Soft Reset served as a reminder that healing, rest, vulnerability, and sustainable leadership are not weaknesses — they are necessary parts of growth. The weekend created space for attendees to not only learn but to exhale.
