Nikki Natural Keeps It All Natural With Trick Daddy And Neutral With Trina

“Love & Hip Hop Miami” kicked off Season 3 with Trina attending a funeral and saying goodbye to a loved one. The hip hop star’s mother passed away following her battle with cancer. While Trina lost a significant loved one, Trick Daddy gained a compelling love interest. Fans were introduced to Trick Daddy’s new girlfriend Nikki Natural.
At first glance Nikki’s youthful appearance is eye-catching. Trick and Nikki have an estimated 15 to 20 year age difference. The second issue which has become an ongoing topic on social media is the fact that Nikki Natural claims she is celibate. The majority of the fans share the opinion of Nikki using Trick to advance her career as an artist. Fans point to Nikki’s celibacy claim as the overwhelming evidence. The general public sees it as Nikki using her alleged celibacy as an excuse not to have sex with Trick, but still have a relationship with him and reap the benefits of his celebrity.
Nikki is adamant in reference to the fans rushing to make the wrong judgment. She claims her relationship with Trick is genuine, and they share a special bond.
In Episode 2, Trina meets Trick at his restaurant. While eating pork chops and french fries, Trina vents about her issues with her business partner, and dealing with the death of her mother. She speaks on finding new positive energy. The new positive energy comes in the form of Trina putting together an all-girls tour. Trick Daddy mentions his new boo Nikki Natural as a candidate for the all-girls tour audition. Trina is hesitant to extend an invitation due to the fact she heard Nikki has a lot of mouth. Trick insists Nikki has a lot of potential which leads to Trina reluctantly agreeing to invite Nikki to the audition.
It is obvious the two long-time friends have different opinions when it comes to Nikki. Fans of “Love & Hip Hop Miami” were caught off guard due to the fact Nikki is new to the show and to the hip hop scene. So exactly who is Nikki Natural?
Neisha Cooper is a native of Miami, Florida. She’s a mother of three, and she has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. When Cooper was in high school, she was very athletic and a Principal Scholar/ Honor Roll student. Going to the studio with her sister assisted in helping her develop a passion for music. After growing out of her shyness, Neisha Cooper transformed into Nikki Natural. Sports/Entertainment Journalist Vince D’Writer spoke with Nikki Natural in reference to her music and her role on Love & Hip Hop Miami.
Vince: Describe your Swagher. What makes Nikki Natural, Nikki Natural?
Nikki: So when most people see me and see my pictures they think they got to have money to mess with me. They think I’m a gold digger. They think if somebody doesn’t have money they can’t talk to me. That is the complete opposite of who I am. I’m a very down to earth person. Once you meet me you will love me, and if you don’t like me, most likely it’s a jealousy thing. I’m also a natural at everything. I’m a natural athlete, natural cook, natural rapper. I can do everything well naturally. It’s a gift I have.
Vince: How was your childhood growing up?
Nikki: I got to see both sides of life. When I was home I saw the middle class and when I was with my grandmother on the weekends in the Pork & Beans projects in Liberty City, I got a taste of the hood.
Vince: What were you doing to earn a living prior to becoming an artist?
Nikki: Actually I’m a licensed medical massage therapist and I have my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
Vince: Describe the Nikki Natural sound?
Nikki: My sound is for women and men. My sound has the dudes and the girls bopping.
Vince: How did the opportunity to be a part of the Love & Hip Hop Miami cast develop?
Nikki: l saw Khaotic in the club down here, and he was flirting with me, and I told him I know him from the show. I told him I do music too. He invited me to the studio and I played my ‘That’s Me,’ song. Khaotic told me it was dope and told me that I should open up for him and Trick on the road. I went on the road, and the first time I saw Trick in the lobby, he asked Khaotic what he doing with his peeps because Trick knew of me from me being with my sister. Khaotic told Trick I was opening up for them. Trick kept calling me his peeps. Khaotic told Trick if I’m his peeps he should get me on the show. Trick said if she acts right I will. Trick and I exchanged numbers, we talked every day and then he became my boyfriend.
Vince: You and Trick have an age gap. Does that cause disagreements between the two of you since he’s from the old school era, and you’re from the new school era?
Nikki NaturalNikki: Not really because I’m an old soul, and I’m mature for my age.
Vince: How long have you been celibate?
Nikki: In February, it will be two years.
Vince: In one scene in episode one at the grand opening of Trick’s restaurant, you met his estranged wife Joy. Leading up to that scene, were you nervous?
Nikki: I was nervous because I didn’t know what type of questions they were going to ask me. I knew they were going to drill me. I’m not uncomfortable around Joy because she and Trick haven’t been together for at least seven years. The only thing keeps them married is that paper.
Vince: What is the vibe between you and Trina?
Nikki: Ain’t no vibe.
Nikki Natural overcame being shy and now she is ready, willing, and able to make her mark on the rap game. She’s very confident in her abilities and she envisions herself excelling as a female emcee and eventually transitioning to acting.
