You all know him on The Breakfast Club morning show on the radio interviewing different hip hop and RNB icons and moguls in the Black Community Charlamagne tha God launches a new podcast called ‘Black Effect Podcast Network’ to tell and highlight Black stories. He has partnered up with iHeartMedia on this opportunity.
The podcast will highlight the Breakfast Club podcast and many other inspirational and cultural-shifting voices to be on the network’s list. The podcast plans to launch this Fall, bringing 18 shows that will include some powerful voices, influencers, and celebrities.
The network also plans to create a limited podcast series that will promote their work, such as film or music releases. Some of the guests that will be apart of the network are Michelle Williams, former Destiny’s Child member, will be hosting a podcast called ‘Checking In’ and Tiffany Haddish, actress, comedienne, and producer of ‘She Ready’ productions, is an executive producer of a show with drag queen Flame Monroe called ‘Laugh and Learn.’
Charlamagne tha God stated that the purpose of this podcast network is to “shift the narrative from black creators signing transactional deals to forming legacy partnerships that build generational wealth…”
