Rebuilding After Bull Brunch Recap

Saturday, July 21st Author Tanisha Mackin held a Rebuilding After Bullsh*t empowering brunch for women in her hometown of Buffalo, NY.  Tanisha founded Rebuilding After Bullsh*t in 2019 after she released her sixth book, “Living My Best Life On My Own Terms”.  She felt the need to empower and inspire women to get past the bullsh*t in their lives.

Hosted by Salon Talk Podcast, Tanisha hosted around 35 women for  an intimate brunch, unlimited mimosas, a copy of her new book and great conversation.  During the brunch, Tanisha along with others shared their testimonies and how they overcame their trials and tribulations.  Guest speaker, Keiaettiaya Roman from Brite White Cleaning Services in Buffalo, NY shared her story about being addicted to shoplifting, going in and out of jail, hitting rock bottom and how this is an everyday struggle.  Since then, she has rebuilt her life, just celebrated her one year wedding anniversary, and started a successful cleaning business. “I didn’t have an addition to drugs or anything like that, but I had an addition to stealing and a lot people don’t understand that stealing is an addiction,” stated Keiaettiaya Roman who was presented with the Rebuilder of the Year award from Tanisha Mackin.
