Ree’s Bar of Beauty is the heart and vision of founder and CEO Sherrie Rey, a medical professional with over 15 years of experience who has transformed her career from traditional bedside nursing into aesthetics and entrepreneurship. Located in Cleveland, OH, Ree’s Bar of Beauty is more than a Med Spa; it’s a sanctuary where wellness and beauty meet. Guided by her motto, “Unshakeable Faith, Unstoppable Women,” Sherrie has built a space that empowers women to heal, glow, and feel their absolute best. From medical weight loss and corrective skincare to IV therapy, post-operative care, and body contouring, her expertise reflects both her medical knowledge and her passion for uplifting others. With compassion, personalized care, and a commitment to education, Sherrie continues to expand her impact, mentoring other professionals while helping clients reclaim their health, confidence, and power.

Fancy: You have over 15 years of experience as a nurse. What inspired your transition from traditional bedside nursing into aesthetics and founding Ree’s Bar of Beauty?

Sherrie: Nursing has always been about healing for me, not just physically but emotionally. After spending so many years at the bedside, I realized I wanted to create something that allowed me to use my medical expertise in a new way, one that focused on wellness and self-confidence. That’s what inspired Ree’s Bar of Beauty. It gave me the chance to merge my background in nursing with my passion for aesthetics, creating a space where women feel cared for inside and out.

Fancy: Your motto is “Unshakeable Faith, Unstoppable Women.” How has faith guided your entrepreneurial journey, and how does it influence the way you serve your clients?

Sherrie: Faith has carried me through every step of this journey. Entrepreneurship can be unpredictable, but leaning on my faith keeps me grounded and focused on my purpose. It reminds me that my work is bigger than me; it’s about uplifting women. When I serve my clients, I want them to feel the same strength and encouragement I’ve leaned on myself. Faith is the reason I approach my work with so much compassion and determination.

Fancy: Ree’s Bar of Beauty offers everything from medical weight loss to IV therapy and post-operative care. What made it important for you to create a med spa that combines both beauty and wellness?

Sherrie: Because I believe you can’t truly have one without the other. You can look beautiful on the outside, but if your body isn’t cared for from within, the results won’t last. I wanted Ree’s Bar of Beauty to be a place where women can come for both the health and wellness services that nourish the body, and the aesthetic treatments that enhance their confidence. That balance is where real transformation happens.

Fancy: Can you share a memorable client success story where your treatments made a lasting impact on their health, confidence, or overall well-being?

Sherrie: One of my clients, who had been struggling with their weight, came to me feeling discouraged. They were over 200 pounds, borderline diabetic, and had lost confidence in themselves.

With consistent treatments and encouragement, I watched their body and mindset transform. Dropping below 200 pounds was a milestone they had been chasing for years, and their blood sugar levels improved, so they were no longer at risk of diabetes.

What meant the most to me was not just the physical change. It was seeing their confidence and happiness return.

Fancy: You also offer training in areas such as IV hydration, post-operative care, and facials. What drives your passion for educating and mentoring other professionals in the industry?

Sherrie: When I first started, there weren’t many resources or guidance, and I recall how overwhelming that felt. I don’t want others to feel like they have to figure it all out alone. Sharing my knowledge allows me to pour into the next generation of providers. If I can give another professional the tools and confidence they need, that means more clients will receive safe, quality care. For me, education is about impact; it multiplies the good we can do in this industry.

Fancy: As a CEO and medical professional, what advice would you give to women who aspire to merge their medical expertise with entrepreneurship?

Sherrie: Trust your foundation. Your medical background is your strength; it gives you knowledge and credibility that will set you apart. Don’t wait to have every detail figured out before you start; take that first step. Stay rooted in your purpose, keep your faith strong, and don’t be afraid to take up space. There’s room for you, and the industry needs more women who are willing to merge medicine with entrepreneurship.

Fancy: What’s next for Ree’s Bar of Beauty, and how do you see the future of aesthetics and wellness evolving in the next few years?

Sherrie: The next step for us is expansion,  not just in services, but also in education and community outreach. The future of aesthetics and wellness is moving toward personalization. People no longer want cookie-cutter treatments; they want care tailored to their specific needs and lifestyles. I see Ree’s Bar of Beauty continuing to lead in that space, offering advanced medical treatments with a personal touch. My vision is growth, impact, and helping women feel powerful in their own skin.
