Press, Press, Press: Cardi B to Perform During “BET Awards” 2019

With 2019 being the year of transparency, I feel like the 2019 BET Awards is going to be filled with some tongue-wagging, hip-shakin’ and toe-tapping vibes.

“Press” artist Cardi B leads this year’s nominations with a total of seven, including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, two separate nods in both the Best Collaboration and Video of the Year categories, Album of the Year and the Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award.

I can’t wait to hop in and catch all my bad chick vibes! C’mon, don’t act like Cardi and Young Miami (who we will also see grace the stage) don’t have you feeling like one of the coldest in the game.

Also nominated, Drake with 5 nominations including Coco-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award.  I think it goes without saying that I would not mind drinking from that tall glass… What is that they say? “Everything goes well with a Coke” Let me see if that’s true. Drake come here, I’m trying to see something…

I can’t wait to scream “DJ KHALID” when he hits the stage. Trust me, we all will have the same energy yelling his name like he does at the beginning of every hit he brings us!

As if that wasn’t, Taraji P. Henson, Lena Waithe, Morris Chestnut, Yara Shahidi, and Marsai Martin will be amongst the first set of presenters. No way there won’t be anything less than excellence crossing the stage!

Make sure you hop into the “BET AWARDS”  LIVE at 8 pm ET. With Regina Hall (my homegirl in my head), who will be the host of the evening, tell me this isn’t a night to remember.

Since we are on the topic of nights to remember, for the FIRST TIME EVER,  BET will air in Africa at 2 am CAT on June 24th, followed by international broadcasts in the UK on June 24th at 9:00 pm BST, South Korea on June 25th at 9 pm KST and in France on June 25th at 9 pm CEST.

YES HUNTY! This year the BET Awards is going International!

Internationally, BET will honor Best International Act in-show, along with the fan-voted category Best New International Act and BET International Global Good Award during the live red carpet pre-show.

I can’t wait to hop in and check out all of this years new additions and old traditions, including the runway-worthy fashions! Don’t forget to hop into SwagHer and catch the BET recap!
