Symphony: If I could describe Sheer Purity in my own words, I would say it is empowering and chic. It’s a brand that embodies confidence. The literal meaning of “Sheer Purity” of “Absolute Perfection.” We’re not just a feminine hygiene line; we’re a movement that celebrates women and their health.
Fancy: You were inspired to create your feminine wash line after experiencing recurring Bacterial Vaginosis and yeast infections. Can you share more about that?
Symphony: Sheer Purity is much more than just a feminine wash line. While we offer feminine washes, our brand is dedicated to a comprehensive range of products catering to women’s overall hygiene. With around 21 million women in the U.S. suffering from Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) and millions more from yeast infections, the need for effective solutions is critical. I designed Sheer Purity to address these issues with care, offering products that empower women to take control of their health and well-being. Our goal is to provide women with the tools they need to feel confident and supported in their daily lives.
Fancy: What was life like before Sheer Purity?
Symphony: Before Sheer Purity, life was challenging as I dealt with various vaginal health issues. The creation of Sheer Purity was born out of a personal need for a solution. It started as a way to solve my own problems, and now it’s helping countless women find relief and confidence.
Fancy: How important is it to educate younger women about their hygiene practices?
Symphony: It’s incredibly important! Many women feel hesitant to talk about their hygiene due to fear of judgment from peers, family, or society. I created Sheer Purity as a safe space where
women can openly discuss these topics. Every product we offer is designed to support and improve women’s hygiene, providing them with the knowledge and tools they need.
Fancy: How comfortable were you when first starting out discussing the matter?
Symphony: In the beginning, I was definitely uncomfortable. There’s this unrealistic expectation that women shouldn’t have vaginal health issues, but that’s simply not true. Once I educated myself, I realized how widespread these concerns are. It gave me the confidence to speak out and help others.
Fancy: What challenges did you face getting your business off the ground?
Symphony: One of the biggest challenges was perfecting our product formulas. I had high expectations—I needed everything to be just right, not just for myself, but for all the women who would use our products. This mission was no longer just personal; it was about making a real difference in women’s lives.
Fancy: What do you find most rewarding about your business?
Symphony: The most rewarding part of running Sheer Purity is hearing from our customers. I pay close attention to their feedback, and when I read positive reviews, it fills me with so much joy. Knowing that I’m helping women across the nation is an indescribable feeling. There’s nothing that compares to that sense of fulfillment.
