Neon Colors: If you know then you know. Neon colors are definitely trending for the summer. Neon colors NEED to be in every Black girl’s closet. There is something about bright colors against melanated skin. It’s a win no matter what.
Graphic T-shirts: A graphic tee is always needed, and can be styled so many ways. Distress it, bleach it, cut it and tie it up. The options are endless.
Sheer/Mesh: Sheer and mesh garments, whether shirts, catsuits or leggings, have hit the fashion world hard and they are here to stay. Grab a sheer mesh top and wear it over your favorite bra. Or if you a more conservative, put a camisole under the shirt.
Oversized Shirts: Whether a button up or a T-shirt, an oversized shirt can go the distance. Worn with combat boots or heels, you will be ready for whatever ratchet activities come your way.
Faux Leather: Now this is a trend I absolutely love. I know you are thinking leather and summer doesn’t mix in any design. But faux leather shorts or an off-the-shoulder dress are killer.
