Christina: What is your SwagHer? What makes Jessica, Jessica?
Jessica: My SwagHer is my unconventional style and personality. I’m a giver, I want everyone to win and I think I infuse that fire a lot in my practice.
Christina: Why did you want to become a therapist?
Jessica: I wanted to be in the helping profession where I could impact people and see measurable change.
Christina: Who or What is your biggest inspiration?
Jessica: My mother, her tenacity, strength, and consistency is unmatched in my eyes.
Christina: As a therapist, how do you practice self-care?
Jessica: Working out! I feel so accomplished when I’m done. Also, a good happy hour from time to time doesn’t hurt either..lol
Christina: Complete this sentence. Therapy is…
Jessica: An opportunity for healing that doesn’t have to be done alone.
Christina: What is a tip you would give someone who is on the fence about going to therapy?
Jessica: Be optimistic! YOU are in control about who you decide to partner with on this journey. Grab your power and go for it!
Christina: Is there anything else you would like to share?
Jessica: Therapy is not in the confines of just behavioral challenges, but any life transitions that come: changing jobs, new managers, new to a city, therapy is able to “do life” with you.
