Christina: What is your SwagHer? What makes Kristin, Kristin?
Kristin: I love this question! My SwagHer is my confidence, style, and the way I impact others. I’m all about continuous growth, positivity, and connecting with like-minded women!
Christina: Why did you decide to pursue fashion?
Kristin: Fashion has always been a part of me, from childhood to adulthood. I’ve always expressed myself through style and trying new looks.
Christina: Have you always wanted to work within the fashion industry?Â
Kristin: Honestly, no. I was so accustomed to styling myself, and because it was extremely effortless for me – I thought that everyone else had the same experience. I started being approached by other women who asked for expertise around styling & that’s when I realized this was one of my gifts that I needed to share with others!
Christina: Why would someone need a style coach? What exactly does a style coach do?
Kristin: Great question! A style coach essentially guides the process of helping their clients increase their confidence and helps them discover their personal style. I didn’t realize this, but I needed a style coach during some seasons of my life. It took me a while to discover my look (again) after my son’s birth. Style coaches help women regain themselves (through style), increase their self-confidence, and help them develop an action plan to move towards achieving their goals.
Christina: What are some good statement pieces every woman should have in her closet?
Kristin: Some of my ideal statement pieces include but are not limited to:
- Great fitting pair of jeans
- Pencil Skirt
- Simple Blazer
- Statement Blouses
- Pointed Toe Pumps
- Comfortable (but stylish) flats or casual shoesÂ
Christina: If you could style any celebrity, who would it be and why?
Kristin: I would love to style Issa Rae. She is such a Queen and stunning woman! I love her current style and would love to create a new vibe!
Christina: Have you ever thought of designing? Is that something we can look forward to seeing you do?
Kristin: Potentially! I’d love to design statement earrings – so maybe that is something you will see in the future!
Christina: Let’s say I needed to be styled for an important press event. How would you style me?
Kristin: Love this question! I would stick with the classics – A great fitting dress that compliments your body type, a fierce shoe, and a bold lip!
Christina: Do you have any upcoming events or projects you would like our readers to know about?
Kristin: Yes! I have some upcoming features that will be released soon, along with an e-book that will be available early next year!Â
Christina: Is there anything else you would like to share?
Kristin: Remember this, when you look good ….you feel good…when you feel good…you are UNSTOPPABLE! I’d love to help you on your journey of becoming the best version of YOU! Please check out my platforms for style tips, positive content, and to book me, of course!
