We’re taking back our dreams, our purpose and the reason we were created! How many times have you walked away from your dreams because fear and intimidation stepped in? How many times have you allowed the voices of others to drown out what you KNOW you were created to do? The days are over where we allow the many distractions of life to slow us down. Let’s face it, there is always going to be something going on and we have to get to a place where we’re moving forward in spite of what’s going on around us. When you read about millionaires and all the success stories that they have, understand that there were many times that became frustrated and may have even wanted to give up, but something within kept them going!
Tackling your dreams and achieving your goals means that you are going to ruffle some feathers. SO, WHAT! As a matter of fact, say it louder for the folks in the back. There are some people who worry too a fault about how much they may offend someone else because their light is so bright. It’s time to start shining, regardless of the hurt feelings and the negativity that some people may spew. I’m not saying to become disrespectful or arrogant, but you have to know what’s inside of you in order to wade through the rubbish of other’s disapproval. Suppressing the gifts that are inside of you, opens you up to resentment and bitterness. No longer live your life in regret or vicariously through someone else’s eyes. You have gifts on the inside of you and there are people waiting on you! Do you realize that the dreams and gifts that are inside of us, aren’t just for us? Yes, there will be those that doubt you but utilize their doubt as fuel. People that sit on the sidelines trying to crush the dreams of others have too much free time on their hands.
There are people that are directly attached to your dreams and purpose. There are people that will talk trash about you, and they are also apart of your purpose. Check out the snapshot, briefly explaining what I mean.
- Visionary – This person sees the greatness within you, that others can’t see yet. These people see the end of a thing, first.
- Cheerleader – We love this person; they motivate us to keep going even when we’re tired.
- Hater – The sandpaper. The sandpaper is used to smooth rough surfaces. When you run into this type of person, you’ll either lose your temper or you will use them for your good. Use the hater to motivate you to be your best.
- Doubter – Wow, they can be in the same category as the hater because they aren’t sending any good vibes. The doubter suffers from fear and a little envy because they have dreams too but have failed to notice that they have cheerleaders as well, but it’s easier to try and discredit someone else.
- Investor – The first investor must be yourself because if you don’t believe in yourself, who else will? The other investor is the person who believes in your “why†and is willing to put finances behind it. Don’t become a slave to the investor because this is still your dream/purpose but have an attitude of gratitude.
So, now get moving and be encouraged! If the dream and purpose were placed within you, then it is something for you to move on. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or fear those humble beginnings. Always remember along the way that all of those “types†of people that were listed above have come into your life because for a reason. There will be times where you will have to simply ignore and remove people that are toxic, but you know this; however, keep it moving! As for me, God is the spirit that has placed my purpose inside of me and He keeps me going. Find your anchor and don’t give up. People are waiting on the purpose that was given to you. I’m excited for you. Let’s go!
