The Glambitious Conference Returns to Atlanta for 10 Year Anniversary

The Glambitious Conference returns to Atlanta this year for its 10-year anniversary.

Created by award-winning PR Expert Lillie Mae, the Glambitious brand has helped entrepreneurs around the world grow their businesses through books, coaching, and special events for over 10 years. One of her exciting accomplishments includes helping a beautypreneur client reach $500K in revenue within six months.

Lillie Mae has been a keynote speaker on numerous platforms; she has interviewed numerous icons, including Wendy Williams and Russell Simmons, and participated as a red carpet correspondent at the MTV VMA’s and BET Awards, in addition to being seen on Netflix, Black Enterprise, TMZ Live, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Out, NBC 11Alive, BlackLove.com, HelloBeautiful.com, Refinery29, The Atlanta Voice among other esteemed media platforms.

Fancy: How would you describe your swagher? What makes Lillie Mae, Lillie Mae?

Lillie Mae: I love that question! I’d describe my swagher as Glambitious! I love high-energy business activity, glitz and glam fashions + using my creativity to color the world of entrepreneurship. I’ve always been a very ambitious and active person, even as a child, so this has translated very well into my business!

Fancy: How did you get your start in public relations

Lillie Mae: While in college at the University of NC at Chapel Hill, I interned at the PR department of Universal-Motown Records in New York for a summer, and it was so much fun that I decided to make PR my career path.

Fancy: So tell us about Glambitious, and how you came up with the name.

Lillie Mae: The Glambitious brand is the ultimate visibility platform for women entrepreneurs to access media opportunities, speaking engagements, special events, and coaching that helps them reach their business goals. This began 10 years ago when I started hosting events for women entrepreneurs at Chef Rob’s Upscale Lounge in Atlanta, and it organically evolved into the Glambitious Brand. (www.TheGlamCEO.com)

Fancy: Why is visibility so important for business owners?

Lillie Mae: Visibility is integral to having a lasting business because it positions you to have consistent clients, referrals, and profitable partnerships. It also helps you stand out from the competition and gain more credibility as a recognized authority in your industry.

Fancy: You were also cast on Love Is Blind. What was that overall experience like for you?

Lillie Mae: It was great! Filming felt like one big sleepover, and I miss all of the girls.

Fancy: How were you able to leverage that experience to grow your business further?

Lillie Mae: That experience allowed me to gain added visibility for my business and unique media placements with HelloBeautiful.com, BlackLove.com, and other esteemed platforms.

Fancy: What has been your biggest challenge, whether professionally or personally, and how did you overcome it?

Lillie Mae: My biggest challenge was the pandemic forcing me to cancel my 2020 Atlanta conference, and it taught me to always be prepared for the unexpected as an entrepreneur.

Fancy: We know that you are hosting a big event in the fall. Can you tell us more about it and what attendees can expect?

Lillie Mae: Yes! We’re bringing the Atlanta conference back to celebrate the 10th anniversary year of the Glambitious Brand. It’s going to be a fun day of power networking, speakers, panels, music, giveaways, and interactive photo installments. Fancy: Where can our readers connect with you?
