Founder of Iheartcece, Cierra Jones, has as an artistic expression and love for creativity through fashion. With a plethora of fashion shows and photoshoots for her brand, she was nominated and became runner up for the best fashion designer of Columbus in 2015. Cierra was also just recently published in Unplugged Magazine for her designs and wardrobe styling. In 2005, Cierra’s vision for more than fashion was born. She dreamed of creating entertainment never experienced through a production and A-mazé Productions was born. The mission of A-mazé Productions is to release a new form of art and entertainment through interactive audience features and thrilling entertainment with a purpose. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for one to assess their life and adjust any further actions to resemble love and more positive choices. Learn more about Cierra and her upcoming event below.
Fancy: How would you describe your swagher? What makes Cierra, Cierra?
Cierra: I would describe my swagher as #SheWins.
I say that because I have been hit with so many obstacles and still come out whole! From my father dying of a heart attack at the age of seven to growing up to create my own family and experiencing a stillborn birth and five other miscarriages before finally birthing two miracle baby girls, Lillie and Violet alongside my supportive husband Dexter. While growing up to become a woman, worship, professional ballet, and professional modern dance were my therapy, and after my tunnel of heart ached years of miscarrying I decided to put the world of dance, and joy, and entertainment away. This year 2019 I decided to claim my joy back by returning to the world of dance and entertainment.
Fancy: So initially you were more into fashion design but you began to organize your own productions due to your work in the fashion industry. Is that correct?
Cierra: I am still into fashion design as I still do that on the side. I started a fashion company and now have added a production company. I began to organize my own productions due to my background in dance and theater production. So I have the opportunity to bring all my worlds together with this one event. I have chosen to create a one of a kind event called A-mazé and bring the world of 4D and circus entertainment to Columbus OH on December 14, 2019.
Fancy: At what point did you know that you could be successful with your event productions and decided to move forward with Amaze Productions?
Cierra: Basically I had a dream when I was 18 years old of an amazing show like what you would see in Vegas and it reminded me of the now Cirque Du Soleil. It was about paradise and had the most entertaining performers
Fancy: What do you think makes your productions unique?
Cierra: What makes our production unique is the included intense audience interaction using 4D sensory. The audience will no longer just be watching a show but will be able to actually be a part of the show by feeling and even smelling certain scenes.
Fancy: Your cousin, Andre’ Thompson also works with your company. What is it like working with family?
Cierra: It is just like it sounds: Family is loving and annoying, lol. I know he probably thinks I’m “bossy†because I’m the boss but I am a stickler on details and he is not. He is more so a free soul in his style of work. We have two different ways of doing things, but the best part about family is they are supposed to have your back. All he wants to do is have my back and make sure the business gets to spread its wings wide. He is doing an amazing job! *Insert claps* lol.
Fancy: Please tell us a little about your upcoming event “The Experienceâ€.
Cierra: A-mazé Productions 2019 “The Experience” is an independently organized family fun show event happening on December 14, 2019, at 7 pm at the Northland Performing Arts Center.  The theme of this year’s show is “Astro Heaven – and all the sights you will see†including Amazing Entertainment of thrilling acrobats, aerialists, and more. It will remind you of shows such as Cirque Du Soleil and Universe Soul Circus.
The mission for A-mazé Productions is to release a new form of art and entertainment through “new†interactive audience features and amazing entertainment with a purpose. I am telling you that you have not experienced an attraction like what this show is planning. Interaction with the audience is a major key to this live show production.

Fancy: In this age of business, they say we need to create what people are wanting or missing. What type of people might enjoy your events?
Cierra: Families. We need more family united shows. There’s a lot for teens, singles, couples, kids, parents, but there is not too much now for altogether at one time creating moments like what we had before social media took us over.
Fancy: Do you also plan events for others?
Cierra: If you mean event planning…It’s funny because that is my third job. I do event planning with an awesome company and a woman called Moe Entertainment. All types of events come to life around me.
Fancy: How do you balance both your work with your fashion brand and your event production company?
Cierra: I’m actually not balancing at the moment. I need help with it because I’m only one person and I don’t typically have teams behind me with my fashion. It’s just me and my sister on graphics. It’s hard because I have fashion brewing for the next year 2020 and its dope but I don’t have the time right now to move forward with it this year so it will all have to wait until after the A-mazé show. However, I am excited to still style fashion in this show.
